They are mostly talking about the AVGN movie 'scam' (or whatever you want to call it). I did spend some time researching on the matter but it just strikes me as another Internet drama (which seems to have happened a lot in the past with some YouTubers I liked to follow)

Personally I only care about his material. I'm not dumb enough to give ANYONE my money so it doesn't bother me. I don't see AVGN advertising his merchandise in his videos, nor do I see him begging for money and if some people want to help out that's their problem. I really don't see how anyone can have a problem with James over this. Nobody knows what's going behind the scenes anyway, so it just reeks of bitterness.

I suppose we'll only know the answers when/if the movie is released but I believe @ryan o and what he says on B&R sounds promising. Let's wait and see...

Sorry @lolcats, nothing personal, but I always found it weird that people gave money to people on the Internet. I'm not doubting James', in fact he strikes me as a decent all-round guy, but I still wouldn't give him a cent of my money.

I'm not sure if some of you followed/remember Cloud81727 (something like that) but he asked for money to buy a new computer. I was very surprised that he did that as I loved his walkthroughs. Since then he became an arrogant bastard. When you ask people to PAY to listen to you talk in your walkthroughs (that was the best part, trust me) when you had them for free, then you are a dick.

Some nerd dropped by my house this weekend, Jim Ralph or something like that. Said that we filmed some stuff in the past, but he might have been making that up. He asked me to do a quick cameo for a little movie he's putting together (I'm too nice). Showed me some clips from his film as well. It's damn impressive. I'm sure once it's put together it's gonna be really friggin' amazing. Never the less, anyone know who this guy might have been? My memory is so bad recently. Oh well, good luck to ya sir...whoever you are.

I sure will go to a theater to see it. I think on his site James said he would be quite surprised if the theaters will pick it up since he needs a major distributor to do so. I'm expecting a DTV release.

It might have a chance if it's an horror comedy movie. That seems to be his strong point, not surprising really if you consider his interests and favourite movies!

It's more of a sci-fi adventure comedy than a horror flick (though there's a couple horror sequences here and there)... the best description I've been telling anyone who's curious is "Wayne's World meets Men in Black". That's weirdly accurate and all I can really say.
