That point of view segement was good. The "English" part was horrendous. The Robin Williams part was MEH.

It went from horrible to progressively better, but still was quite lacking

Funny my tv guide call it a "tradition" cause its only the second time they do it and the last time they did it was 10 years ago

English part was pretty lazy and going for the low hanging fruit, but Stewie as a southern hick was pretty funny. Loved the 2nd and third segment, especially Stewie imagining what Louis and Peter were doing in the bedroom. The Robin Williams puns were pretty good too, and spot on.

I enjoyed the first viewer mail so I was really looking forward to this....but I forgot about it because of the Gaga discussion. Did the episode begin with Brian and Stewie again?

Anyway I DID manage to see the Stewie segment in its entirety and it was very disappointing. I wish they would've used those colored backs again to introduce the stories like in viewer mail 1. My big problem with the segment was it really struck out on almost everything. A couple of Stewie's random comments/observations were fine, but there was too much dark humor I didn't enjoy. Brian and the squirrel seemed particularly cringe-worthy. And the segment ending on Lois and Peter's sex left me thinking, "really? That's the end? Well.....okay, apparently!" Based off of that segment alone I'd give this a 2/5, but I will not vote as I need to see the whole episode first.

In the opening Stewie calling the show a mere Simpsons ripoff was funny.. that's about all I laughed at... and they have already done that joke before.

Funny as several aspects of the other episode reminded me of Simpsons episodes. Still wish I'd seen it.

I'm probably a bit bias where the English segment is concerned, there were a good few things that the writers got spot on. BBC Three only started showing the newest season last night with "Lottery Fever" and "Sea Horse Sea Shell Party"...which got me thinking, the Diana style death of the Queen alongside the fact that her Diamond Jubilee is drawing near, makes me think that there's gonna be some really pissed off Brits

Fatman and Robin...was by far one of the worst pieces of shit I've ever seen, and the ending creeped the fuck out of me. Only good bit was Stewie's impression of him to save himself.

Point of Stew was pretty kick ass though. For some reason the odd perspective of Peter from Stewie's eyes while he was talking about "The Penis that could" made it the funniest moment of the episode for me.

3/5. The Robin Williams stuff really brought the episode down.

Sadly I fell asleep through this. That is what I get for laying on a comfy couch.

^ Well at least rate your comfy couch, then!

^^ I don't see what was so bad about the Robin Williams segment. It was like a modern THOH Simpsons but done right, IMO.

Exactly this. I wish any Treehouse of Horror segment from the past ten years was anywhere as good as Fatman and Robin.

I haven't seen it, but that has to be hyperbole.

This was noticeably better than a number of recent episodes and it was excellent in comparison to the "Internal Affair" episode. Honestly, I'd rather they just make a season of these. I don't think they'll get to wait as long to make the next one, anyway.

Of course the one episode I don't watch turns out to be the best one in recent memory.

Upon rewatching this episode, "Fatman and Robin" is slightly more bearable...really my problem with it was the ending because it was so fucking creepy. I agree it feels like a THOH short done right. But this image of Peter is frightfully disturbing to say the least...probably because they played it straight until Stewie was shown on the roof. I know I'll probably ease up on it as time goes on, but until the creepiness wears off, my verdict remains the same.

I think only the creepiness of the ending make it THOH like
