Overall.. it was pretty great and not what I was expecting.. as this was the most crude and insane episode to date.

I laughed often and hard.. for the first fifteen minutes.. but it got a little insane at the end for my taste.

Tina's reactions to her new insane 'boyfriend' were pretty funny as well as the Bob and Gene rivalry in general.

To keep my review simple and sweet... I'll give it a 4.5/5 rounded up to a 5/5 for the polls.

Probably the worst episode of BB so far. A majority of it was enjoyable (I enjoyed Nathan, as well as Linda "cursing") but I disliked how unlikable the characters were and Linda showing her boobs almost made me puke. I'll be nice and give it a low 4/5 (B-)

Most painfully uneven episode so far. Kills me that this is the season finale. 2/5.

At least we have a full season to look forward to, and with that, I say, start the Bob's Burgers marathon!

I would like to think the GaGa ep left a bad taste in some people's mouths... but I agree; it was insane at the end and some characters kinda started to become a-holes.. Bob and Gene got a little dark there for a bit, didn't they?

Although.. I still loved it overall.

I thought it was great also. Nothing this show has done has seemed bad to me in any way. At worst, it has been average. Maybe since it has completed two seasons now, the internet naturally has reached the point where it will over-analyze the episodes...

I'm somewhat surprised by how people reacted to this episode. I was anticipating a bad episode due to the premise but I ended up enjoying it.
Tina's subplot was very entertaining and I loved how Linda resolved the rift between Bob and Gene. It's nice to have a sitcom where the family actually get on together.

Numbers Game:

Bob's had 3.568 - 3.720 million viewers for the finale.

In other words one million viewers left after "The GaGa's" was over... that's not really considered 'holding' your terrible lead-in the way the network likes.

Still... the numbers are decent enough for another season.

But please, buy the season one DVD and support Bob's.

I liked it. I agree that Gene and Bob got pretty dark towards the end, but the strange thing is I didn't feel myself routing for either of them to come out on top. Bob's anger, while petty, was still justifiable and Gene's just so damn ridiculous anyway that you can't help letting his treatment of Bob slide.

Tina being sorta put-off by the male version of her was pretty funny, wasn't expecting it to be a sub-plot though. It wasn't overly entertaining, but it didn't take away from the episode as a whole so what the Hell.

Stuff I liked in particular:
Pretty much everything Gene said/did in the first act.
Bob and Gene's conversations with Louise about sabotaging one and other.
The Health Inspector guy trying to DVR Linda
Bob and Gene's reconciliation in the studio
Teddy comparing his vision of Linda's boobs to what they actually look like.
THEY BROUGHT BACK GENE'S FART MEGAPHONE!

5/5 I look forward to seeing you next season Bob's Burgers!

I actually now think the jerkass side of the family was used rather well and they did make up at the end. Linda showing her boobs was still rather disturbing and I stick by it being rather out of character for her at this point in the series. Raising my grade to a B+.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that as long as The Simpsons and Family Guy are going down with Bob's Burgers, it's going to be fine. That's just how modern TV ratings are.
