some of the jokes wouldn't work if there was no laughter

eg. kramer slams money on table, says "i'm out", audience goes nuts

The fact that Michael Richards and the rest of the cast had to mime their way through the laughter before he said "What is that, a titleist?" made it even funnier.

I saw the episode in which George feels insecure about the prospect of his new girlfriend and Jerry meeting, which ended up backfiring on him more and more as the episode went on and ended up screwing everyone up.

I love the bits that put all the plots of one episode together at the end, usually ending miserably for the main cast. Larry David writting at it's best!

Dark and disturbed? His whole life revolves around Superman and cereal. I convinced him to act like that so that you would think I was funnier. That's how disturbed I am! If you want disturbed, that's disturbed! You can't find sickness like that anywhere. You think sickness like that grows on trees? Nobody is sicker than me, nobody. He's pretending, I'm the genuine article.

Season four is pretty scratched in my collection and I saw a copy at Dollar General for eight bucks, couldn't say no.

Seinfeld is literally the only show I enjoy that has a laugh track. It's no wonder it's as popular with the younger generations as it was with the generations that grew up with in the '90s.

my friend has lent me some of the dvds... just finished season 1 tonight. eh, i'm not too fond of it really at the moment. kramer right now is just the "wacky neighbour" who i just don't care for, and already i'm getting tired of the constant discussion of faux pas. not to mention it just isn't very funny. i've smirked at george a few times and that's it. of course though, i'm with it til the very end, seeing as i'm being lent all the episodes for free, and i am only 5 episodes in out of 180. i'll keep y'all posted
