    As much as I dislike the premise and am dreading the episode, I think it's only fair to wait until it airs before diving into theatric critiques.

    I've been seeing comments from a lot of Gaga fans who like The Simpsons (or liked it at one point) but aren't fanatics or anything. People are saying "I haven't watched this show in 10+ years, but I'm watching this episode." Seriously? You're going to start watching it again with THIS episode?

    Is that really surprising if they're Gaga fans? I sincerely doubt most of them will tune in next season regardless. Once they get their "Gaga fix" that'll be enough.

    Ah, it must be that... Still not a fan of it. I like "Burns is weak" gags but come one...a piece of glitter? This is a bit too much weak. And there are more clever gags to do with this character, especially in a context like this. I mean, he thought The Ramones were The Rolling Stones and that Gabbo signs were announcing Garbo, he should totally be confused with Gaga's performance. Also "Burns is weak" gags are funnier when combined with his evil instict. If he's only weak and harmless then he just becomes a senile old man and that's not funny.

    It wouldn't surprise me if this episode exceeded my expectations, if only because they could not be lower. I would be shocked if this thing turned out better than "Politically Inept" or this year's Treehouse of Horror. I don't think that it'll be the worst, but it will probably be in the bottom 5.

    Part of the reason the show still exists and episodes like this gets made is there are a lot stupid people in the world. The producers can pat themselves on the back all they want, but Gaga will obviously be a boon to the ratings, and it won't have anything to do with the quality of writing. Gaga cloud be reading the ingredients label on a can of soup and the ratings would spike.

    Also; her voice acting seems very dry, unenthused, and just plain bad.

    The ratings will be huge, b/c peolpe are in fact dumb.

    I hope this leads to Al Jean leaving the show forever..
    so he can go off and do a cartoon with Lady Gagatard.
