That's pretty cool; never could have guessed it was a reference to that movie since it's one I've never seen.
I think this episode is one that shows that the ninth season has a lot of good things going for it among it's ups and downs; I once described it as a 'colorful season' and it seems like it's a fitting description.

When I rewatched this episode, I couldn't help but notice the sheer amount of Homer pain gags in it. The hotair balloon burning his scalp is a particularly forced example.

Well okay everyone that does it for this rendition of the weekly episode club. If you are interested in a Christmas club pm me those four episodes by November 30th as I said earlier. If I don't get enough interest we'll just skip it and wait until after Season 24 ends in May to potentially start up 4.0.
