    May the 4th be with you!



    Today is considered "Star Wars Day". May 4 is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate Star Wars culture and honor the films. It is called Star Wars Day because of the popularity of a common pun spoken on this day. Since the phrase "May the Force be with you" is a famous quote often spoken in the Star Wars films, fans commonly say "May the fourth be with you" on this day.

    I got the idea from a post from Bongo Comics on Facebook and thought it'd be a good idea for the fans here.

    I'm in the same boat as you, Zombies. I'm a mild fan as well, I'm not head over heels for it but I don't hate it either.

    my english sub from earlier this year (who took over for my regular teacher while she had her baby and was on maternity leave) came and was wearing a star wars shirt and said "may the 4th be with you." i groaned. hard.

    i understand people like star wars and stuff, but...

    Fan here. I watched the Blu-Ray's for the original trilogy in honor of the day, though I found tons of inconsistencies in "Jedi".

    I acknowledged the 4th even though it's not such a big deal to me and I didn't watch any of the movies (rewatched the original trilogy a week or so ago, though). The next Star Wars day is May 25th (yes, there are apparently two SW days in May).
