Hi all! So I posted another thread trying to speculate as to why the Simpsons aren't as good as they used to be, and a lot of the responses mentioned something about the Simpsons Producers and how different eras yielded different styles of episodes. Could somebody please give me a list of all of the executive producers, years that they were in power, and a description of what Simpsons episodes were like under their influence? Also, what does an executive producer or director or whoever it is that I'm asking about (whatever it is that Al Jean is) do for the show? Also, is the showrunner the same thing as what I am asking about?
Please have the format be something like this:
Herpy Derpy
(1880-1881)
Shows under his influence exhibited many of the characteristics of the "Classic Era" of the Simpsons with the added gag of Homer's feet talking instead of his brain.
Thank you!
