This may not be as bad as it sounds. American Dad seems to be slipping into autopilot, and we don't want it to start filling in thin plots with Conway Twitty.![]()

I was going to mention this before but was sure it couldn't be right...Bob's Burgers is only getting 9 episodes this season...so I guess FOX wanted a threesome and decided to start fucking with American Dad AND Bob's Burgers at the same time.
Just be thankful
It's the end of an era... I believe.. Simpsons will end after the next two seasons.. and everything else animated on Fox will go with it... execpt for the new Saturday night block.
That's why they are doing Axe Cop... from mainstream Sunday domination........ to cheapo saturday cartoon late-night block.
But yeah, Axe Cop might rule.
And we have the great Flintstones reboot project Seth just shelved for now... lol.
Futurama and V Bros. will be all that's left in two years... assuming they keep going.

All I can say is a 9-episode "season" would be gay as can be, and there is no way in hell I would buy a 9-episode season set.

There hasn't been a bad episode yet for me this season so I'd defiantly pick it up....though they would need to release season one here in the UK first
EDIT: One of the preiviews for the season finale....looks like they've just copied Fuad from FG...uh oh, this ain't a good sign.
For those who don't remember him....here's Fuad

Renewed along with Family Guy

Not necessarily.
FOX aren't exactly fond of Cleveland, it doesn't perform the best of numbers and I'm sure if the Flintstones reboot gets back into development again, I'm sure FOX wouldn't hesitate to call it quits after Cleveland's 4th.
Saying that, I would say it's a fairly safe bet.
Huh. I didn't know we already had a third season in the works for the last several months. Everyone was freaking about the show getting canceled on the last page of the thread.Bob’s Burgers‘ third season pickup was announced in January,

The third season hasn't been announced yet. If it is renewed, it will most likely be announced next week at upfronts, with all the other network renewals and cancellations.
The poster could have been confused as the rest of season two won't air until the 2012-2013 TV season - that'll probably be airing in the Fall or maybe next year.
I suppose...and if FOX are keen to get rid of it, it would explain why the DVD sets are ACTUAL FULL SEASONS unlike the FG and AD sets that are like 13-15 episodes worth per box set.
It's a shame if they do can it really, because the show really churned out some good stuff this season.
EDIT: Kara Vallow has confirmed via Twitter that American Dad has been picked up for an 8th writing season.

So this means we'll be getting new episodes up until at least 2014.
