I'm not hating Mozy I apologize if you took that as such, I am incapable of hating. And yeah that's my favorite line from that medicore episode Panther.

Pitchers were good enough to hit in the AL until the 1970s but not now? Seems like a big load of bs to me. That's clearly how the game was intended to be played!

He was starting from the stretch and didn't commit to home plate, well within the rules.

EDIT: I actually read what constitutes a balk and faking to first is a balk while faking to second while the base is occupied is perfectly legal.

The Cardinals are close to not scoring a single run in their first three games with the Mets. This is ridiculous.

At least you've seen your team win a World Series or two, I'll never see that happen in this lifetime!

    Screw baseball, bring on football!

    We don't need no football!

I'm assuming you're not a football fan? If so, you're a Rams fan?

I like baseball more than football. And yes, I am a Rams fan, and I get to enjoy all the luxurious winning seasons that come with it.

I've watched every game. Decent tournament with the exception of a few games (Portugal/Germany, every Spain game). England knocked out of another tournament but Hodgson did the best he could with a limited bunch of players IMO.

As for the Impact, a delightful 4-2 win over Houston at Saputo Stadium on Saturday gives us a shot at a play-off spot. I haven't been impressed with any of the clubs we've faced so far but their experience in MLS and some tactical naivety from our young coach has cost us points. We have a 100% record at the new Saputo Stadium (2 games, 8 goals, 6 points - love it!) which will hopefully cover up our awful away record. Got DI Vaio coming on Wednesday and could potentially face Toronto FC (worst team this season by quite a distance) at Saputo Stadium so hopefully another happy day in the Impact camp! Gutted to lose Matteo Ferrari for a few weeks but hopefully the Rivas-Camara partnership can do a job in his absence (it looked good v Houston except for a Rivas brain fart - a rare sight from BEEEEAST), but at least we have a strong midfield 3 between Warner-Bernier-Felipe which has been effective and exciting to watch!

I went to the Montreal-Seattle game (Saputo opener) and I enjoyed the night. Where I sat the atmosphere was kinda dead but being a stand away from the Ultras made it memorable! I joined in the songs when I could and it was electric, and a 4-1 win made the night even sweeter! I'm likely to go to the Montreal-Columbus game in early July, I simply want to go back to Saputo Stadium as quickly as possible (living almost 2 hours away from the stadium makes it impossible for me to attend every game). I can't wait!

Robertson is underrated on your list, other than that not bad.

LeBron is quite the doucher, if I say so myself.

Fun fact, Bill Russell won 2 high school championships, then 2 college championships, then 11 NBA championships.

No one will ever be able to match that.

Spain played well in the final, it made up for their boring (but effective) tactics/performances during the tournament! But when teams decide to put 10 men behind the ball against a team that doesn't field any strikers, well you get boring games!

murray vs. tsonga semi final tomorrow is going to be good, especially because murray has a strong chance of finally getting to a wimbledon final.

I've been watching Wimbledon. My brother is going to that semi final tomorrow. I'm mega jealous. I reckon if Murray can beat Ferrer, he can beat Tsonga.

I was hoping the Wings would land Sutor, what do you think of the additions of The Monster (Gustavson), Tootoo and the return of Samuelsson?

  31. #210

I have mixed thoughts on it, honestly. I was hoping that the Wings would have landed both but oh well, I guess....greedy bastards. Anyway, I like those three signings because all three bring potential to the team! Tootoo is the gritty "gets under your skin" enforcer types, which is something that they've been missing for quite some time. I would like to see the Wings trade for Rick Nash though...
