    anyone who thinks the simpsons 'owes' them anything is delusional.

    no one forces anyone else to watch the show, or buy any of the products. you're not held at gunpoint with someone watching over you saying "Watch or die".

    so that other thread was kinda sorta pointless.

    if they owe anything, it's quality episodes. but apparently that's too much to ask in this day and age.

    That is what I said when I was talking about the show "owing" the audience something. Captain Pointless here only quoted my post haphazardly and made it read like I meant the audience was entitled something more than a quality TV show.
