eh, Bart Vs. the World is better.
awesome thread though, man.
Dude, no. Space Mutants is way better.
Well they're both no "Bart's Nightmare".
I actually enjoyed both Bart vs The Space Mutants and Bart vs World as a kid. Favorite? Dunno, they both have pretty tedious parts, but that ice cave has got to be the worst. Or maybe that Hollywood horror level.
Anyway, how well did Greg Daniels know Swartzwelder? When exactly did he join the writing room? Mike Scully replaced Conan, so he came in just after Swartzwelder stopped coming to the rewrites, but he obviously got to know him pretty well being a showrunner. But Scully didn't have anything to do with creating Parks & Rec, right? Are there anymore former Simpsons writers on staff over there?
I guess John did come to a meeting a couple of times a year, since there are a few comments about him from season 5-8 writers in the Ortved book. And there's always the stories the writers told eachother, of course.
500 episodes, about 200 good ones.

The episode "Whacking Day'' curiously aired the same day as Seinfeld's "The Contest'', which deals with a different kind of whacking.
RIP Swartzwelder's dad
I guess we forgot the disclaimer
for shame, people
This thread did need a revival. Congrats, Ben.

Haha, I wish I watched Parks and Rec when this thread was in its popularity.
