Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest RPGs EVER! It's easily in my top 10 favorite games ever!

The thing that stood out most to me was the artwork. Akira Toriyama's art style is pretty damn wonderful. Dragon Ball was one of the series that defined my childhood.
I lovelovelove Chrono Cross. Hatersgonnahate etc.
The DS version of Trigger has a new ending that shows something relevant.
Well hold on, not until I get a chance to play the game!

It does. I just feel bad for people stuck playing the playstation version
SUPER NINTENDO OR BUST!
Crono, Frog, and Robo was my favorite combination!
Magus had some pretty bad ass attacks too!

I learned to value Crono Robo and Ayla
I can't remember what their triple techs were but I do remember that they had some wicked attacks together! Wasn't it "Twister" or something like that?
I actually like the particular set of dualtechs you get with that team
I've only played through the game once (been meaning to replay it again), but I stuck with a Crono/Marle/Robo team. Crono/Marle and Marle/Robo learn an awesome ice double-tech early on, which made the Reptite section a joke. Marle and is mostly used as the white mage (and Haste spammer), though. Robo is a good kind of all-arounder, able to dish out damage and do supplemental healing when Marle's busy.
I have a bad tendency in RPGs to just stick with what I'm given early on. Next time, I'll probably give the other 3 characters a go.

Speaking of dualteachs, although not quite that impressive or exciting, Crono and Frog's "X-Slash" was pretty awesome!
Would anyone else agree that Frog's song is one of the greatest songs in RPG history?
For those of you that haven't heard it, check it out:
Eh, Frog's theme never did that much for me. If I had to pick a character theme, I'd go with Lucca's.
There's a good rock remix of the song too.
I love Robo's theme as well, mostly because of the Rick Astley thing. Probably my favorite track in the game is "Yearnings of the Wind", the 600 AD overworld music, though.
There's obviously better ones but I think it's ONE of the best in RPG history, just sayin'.
I was mega in to Revelations. Not really that familiar with the rest of the series. Started 4 but never finished it (audible gasp etc). Just didn't click with it for whatever reason. Will definitely give it another shot.
I played the first 2 in my youth and couldn't get past the first screen of the second...kinda soured me on the series ever since...but then I'm terrible at almost any shooters so...
Yeah, I own the 2 collections released for Gamecube and 9 on the Wii Virtual Console, but I've only ever actually beaten the first 2 and X-1. The games are really brutally tough at times, but great fun.
I get frustrated at times too with those games but man, X was amazing!
