I thought this episode was pretty good, certainly much better than some of the other episodes of the season. I enjoyed the robot's dry wit, although the plot line was not terribly creative. The jokes were not awful, however, and there was definitely a few times when I laughed, such as when the robot smacked the dog and it flew away or when Lenny had the world's smallest violin (I recognized the joke from spongebob but I thought it was funny how Lenny was selling it for rent and then Homer broke the bow). I also didn't think the ending was as poor as some others on here, although is was very deus ex machina, I thought Lenny and Carl's advanced fighting with their new jobs' supplies was entertaining. This episode was enjoyable to watch, however, I will probably never bother to watch it again. It is easily lumped into the conglomerate of the Simpson's forgettable episodes, neither standing out as amazing or horrible. Overall, a solid way to kill a half hour.
Not a very good episode. One of the parts I particulary disliked was Mr. Burns' sudden knowledge of modern technology. I'm getting really tired of every episode referencing mypods, apps, texting etc. It is like someone who is going through a mid-life crisis trying to be "hip." What happened to Mr. Burns not knowing how to use a phone? Or his use of all things outdated? The "Hardly Working" gag went on too long as many have said and the whole town being unemployed didn't make sense. I think the "smallest violin" gag has been around a lot longer than Spongebob, even in that same context, it also dragged on too long.
Brent Spiner was good though.
2/5 , 3.5/10
P.S. thanks for the new sig ModernSimpsonsRocks

Just okay, still funny, Homer interacting with the robots was a lot of fun, 3/5.
I wish Homer had been hit by the truck and/or cars and died.
That's how bad the show has gotten.. period.

Surprisingly funny modern-era episode. Then again I do love it when robots get hurt (the Ralph gag in Holidays of Futures Passed).
Shame the episode had to end on a sloppy dark kill-all-humans note, but it was still whimsically enjoyable.
3/5

No, the real joke would be if Homer saved one robot, got up and looked away, got hit by a car, then another robot comes out and stands over Homer's broken body and says: "Sir, do you require assistance?" and then the robot takes the broken robot out of the street and leaves Homer lying there.
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
Naw, that's pretty similar to a long running Rockos Modern Life bit, best left to that show.
Homer dying would be awesome, b/c what a turd of a show we have!

Stupid plot, but lots of laughs.
3.5 / 5
Sorry for my english, i use the translator
Moe isn't Yeti's son, it was a joke. But... if he's not naturally ugly, then, it means that, in Pygmoelian, his handsome face is his third????
I also see some similarities between his first face and his third face.
