My full length Simpsons episode script: Homer the Suit
I wrote a Simpsons spec script.
Feel free to tell me if it is the worst episode ever, but enjoy none the less. I think you'll like it.

I wrote the whole thing on my iPad. I bet there are numerous typos.

Terrific script. It had a classic feel to it. The meta humour was particularly well done.

if this were a real episode, it would probably be the best since season 8.

Reality, eh?
Some jokes seem to be recycled from the show, but your own gags are brilliant, and the story is tied together really well. The dialogue in particular has a real classic era feel - great script.

Those recycled jokes are "homages" to former greatness.

Very good script. Definitely better than what I've been seeing out of Season 23.

Very mixed, some parts I really liked and some points need work. The highlight was Homer working at the network, his speech was hilarious. One thing I'd say was that there was just too many meta references, they need to be done sparingly or it just becomes a bit of a mess.
Overall though, very nice script, I'd like to see another one.

I love how this guy painstakingly makes a 20-minute length script and you just go "Oh hey, there's a typo in the first line."

I totally agree with all of this. Being my first time putting words into these characters' mouths, it was very hard to resist some of those things. And I think that is why there is a rewrite process on these things because most of those lines would get the ax once the group got together. The best ones would stay.
And also, to the point about recycled, there are instances where this is definitely the case a bit. For example, the opening scene where Marge stops them at the door is basically the same as the scene in Bart gets an Elephant where Marge makes them stay and clean. I wish I could use the line where Homer tells Bart to push Marge over. That was gold.
I thought of another episode last night which I am going to get to work on when I have time. It is a more emotional Marge-Homer story with a really nice Bart and Lisa B-story.
Thanks for the feedback guys!

Profile Defunct
Was having Homer say "sophistamicated" instead of sophisticated on purpose or a typo. If that's on purpose then that's genius.

I used CeltX App for iPad. Costed a couple bucks, made writing it a snap in terms of formatting. There are free similar programs I am sure, but I liked CeltX.

fans should join forces and overthrow the current writers and replace them with people who can actully make the show good again or just end it all together

Then we'll go too far, and become corrupt and shiftless, and the Japanese will eat us alive!
