What the Heck Was That!? I would give this a 0 but the poll only lets me rate it on a scale of 1-5 so I will give this episode a 1/5.
"I'm not gonna fall in...I'm not a chick!"
I especially enjoyed the fake summoning seance of the inventor of the toilet. "Quick, put 400 dollars in the box!" Especially the courtroom part, where he actually appears. "QUICK, SUE HIM!" and the "correct way" to sit on a toilet.
Could've done without the 2 minute long security monitor guy masturbating with lotion though.
They''ve still got it. 4/5.
I kinda get annoyed when South Park just drives certain things into the ground and gets praised for it anyway, this time it was the observational humor that comes with the age old toilet seat topic. When you think about it nothing really happened here aside from Clyde's Mom's death(have we ever even heard her speak?) and everyone learning the proper way to use the toilet; I'll be interested in seeing how consistent they stay with that in future episodes. The thieving, heartless lawyer stuff was done about as good as in that single scene from "The Sweetest Apu," but it really wasn't anything new. I understood the airline commentary, but it just didn't interest me much. The actual sueance I found meh at best. Cartman was rather heartless and obnoxious...so completely in character, none of the other boys really did much of anything except Clyde. Clyde's ending seemed rather mean and spiteful, but somehow justified, it put a smile on my face. The only other good thing was the callback to how Butters uses the toilet which I honestly forgot about, but should've seen coming. I dunno, this was alright I guess but not an episode I'll ever have a desire to watch again, 2.5/5, a generous 3 on the poll.
A decent all-round episode. It had some nice gags and I loved the fact that Clyde played a pivotal role in the episode. Loved the TSA and the comical gigs at the toilet seat argument (so true...) and Harrington's explaination on the toilet bowl's 'proper' use and Clyde doing it that way at the end.
It loses points for having a few scenes that went on and on (i.e: The black girl and the 'a*shole' line, Cartman calling someone who was there and exagerating/twisting the situation, the lawyer) but as I said - a decent episode, looking forward to more!
3.5/5.
Reverse Cowgirl
So it's another South Park season premiere; and it's the beginning of another season. Cartman and the gang, 14 episodes, critics trying to be college professors; yup, you know what to do.
Much of the episode is surprisingly decent; the argument about whether to leave the toilet seat down leads to some entertaining scenes and the small focus on Clyde works for those scenes. There were some parts where the toilet seat thing didn't exactly work out, such as when Clyde is being picked on for not leaving the toilet seat down and the harshness of such a act but for the most part the scenes regarding the toilet are good.
Unfortunately, the episode is marred by a TSA parody that doesn't seem memorable. Don't get me wrong, I'm with Raspberry in that I know what they're parodying but none of it seems particularly funny or memorable; just passable. I know South Park doesn't want to be passable but that's what they're being; I will admit that the black woman gag was decent. Cartman's fight against the TSA looked like it played a major part of the episode but it's actually a minor part of the episode, it seemed like Cartman was doing this for an agenda but I'm pleased they didn't make it into an agenda, I'm not pleased that he didn't get enough airtime.
Alot of the scenes regarding the lawyer sayance are good but they could of lessened the "money making scheme" thing a bit. I know South Park is known for being in your face but there are times where being in your face doesn't work. The court scene does result in some very decent scenes including the correct way in how to use a toilet, something that ties into something earlier in the episode where Butters (in scenes which dispute his prior toilet appearances) shows us how to truly use the toilet. Plus the appearances by Clyde's mom are decent/midly funny...
So some inconsistency, some failed parodies, some impact which doesn't exactly land... Yup, this season is on a roll. I can get that the people behind South Park have gotten some of our criticisms but it's boring and it doesn't ultimately elevate itself past serviceable. I know South Park is now the show that parodies whatever is current or popular but I expect a bit more from South Park. I'm with Raspberry on this one, just another season premiere.
5.0/10
Pretty good start to the season, the scene with the guy jerking off went on a tad too long for my liking but other than that no complaints. The explanation of how to correctly use a toilet was great.
Good to have you back boys4/5
Just be thankful

It was okay. Pretty typical South Park fare, overdramatizing a silly situation, but at least they avoided the dreaded single joke repetition they love to do so much (although they came close with the female officers). As usual the best stuff came from the characters (Cartman/Butters). Makes me wish the show wasn't driven so much by plot and nameless one-timers so often. Though the appearance of Thomas Harrington was hilarious.
Didn't Clyde's mom have a normal female voice in a previous episode?
Pros:
-Trey Parker voicing a black woman... I nearly peed my pants.
-The masturbating TSA agent.
-The "proper" way of using the toilet.
Cons:
-Clyde's mom's new name and voice.
-The "suance" thing being dragged on like it did.
Overall: 4/5. Good season premiere.

To quote Jasper: "I wasted 30 minutes of my life....I WANT THEM BACK!"
P.S.: I knew the sue-ance was fake!
I thought this was a pretty funny episode and a positive way to start the new season. I loved the way they portrayed the TSA!
I thought this was one of the funniest South Park premieres in a while. Only complaint is with the abrupt ending and how the TSA thing wasn't really resolved.
That's probably because the TSA thing isn't really resolved.
.
Matt and Trey did a good job with the TSA parts, I'll have to give them that. It's so funny yet disturbing on how the TSA was portrayed because you know it's true.
the TSA parts were okay, but the whole sue-ance plot was terrible. this has to be the worst season premiere yet, even worse than human centipad. hopefully next week is better
I'm just glad to see South Park back. Obviously everything was blown out of proportion; it's what they always do. Happy to see some good old butt-probing threats, seeing as how everything else on TV is so benign at the mo. I thought the sue-ance thing went on a little too long but it was originally funny, liked the callback to Butters' method of using the toilet being the right way (would like to see some continuity herein, but please not every five minutes), and could have done with a bit less fapping and a bit more Cartman (his portrayal here was so limited that it's unsurprising that the phone thing looked overdone, what with the way he barely did or said anything else). Roll on next week!
I didn't like it, south park could do something better than that, The idea of the chapter was good, I just didn't feel the jokes as good as south park do.
I hated the Clyde's mom' death

It Just wasn't that funny the sueance thing dragged on too much and Clyde's moms death really just wasn't funny. The only funny thing was the explanation of how to use the toilet at the end and the tsa parts. And does any else feal like caratman in this and the previous episode were just WAY to predictable. Like he just wasn't funny because you knew exactly what he was going to do.
Idk
The death of Clyde's mom horrified me insanely. I never want to see that scene again, no joke. I can't even begin to explain why -- I have a feeling it's to do with Chuck Palahniuk's Guts -- but then the rest of the ep was...ok? Passable? There were a few things I really cracked up at, the masturbating agent being one of them. Everything else was kind of overshadowed by my inability to relax after the mother's death.
The suance thing was the only gag that let down the whole episode. Otherwise, a four out of five for me.
"May I touch your balls, sir?" - Best line in the episode

-"My grandma lives in Virginia!"
-randy on the toilet scene
-the right way to sit on the toilet
-the suance
-the masturbating security guard
