SHD: My one class I had at college today got cancelled, so I got to stay home.
SMD: I didn't find out until about 15-20 minutes into the class's start time that it was cancelled.

LMD: I must go to one of the only schools that assigns homework during the summer. They make us do a "summer reading program." My grade has to read The Grapes of Wrath, pick a passage and answer a bunch of questions about it in essay format for every ten chapters, then write a 2-3 page essay about some question that makes no sense.

Only one book Panther? At my schools it was 3 every summer and you'd take tests on them at the beginning of the year. I remember Senior year was 1984, Frankenstein, and Wuthering Heights.

I can still remember I refused to even read Frankenstein figuring seeing multiple film adaptations was good enough and, naturally, I did the worst on its test.

SHD: The audit starts today meaning I don't need to be stuck in that small freezing room working on papers all day anymore.
SMD: Have no idea what assignment they'll put me on now. Could be worse than what I was doing.

I dunno bout you but I love to read. I wish our school actually had these, so I wouldn't be so distracted and actually did read during the summer.

SHD: Finally got my dog to be able to "lay down" on command. Damn, you teach a dog to roll over, sit, shake, etc. and not to lay down?!

I like to read as well; what I don't like is having to do assignments over what I read.

Might have malware or a virus...my computer was slow too recently, and I just zapped it back to life with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
