    NHC Season Rankings

    I thought it would be interesting to see how each season is fairing on the top 100 episode list so far. Just like the tabulation of the top 100 I'm allotting 1 point for episode 100 all the way up to 100 points for episode 1. There will be a running tally for every 20 episodes posted.

    Here's how they rank so far:

    Episodes 100-81
    Season 3: 47 points
    Season 8: 36 points
    Season 2: 34 Points
    Season 7: 22 points
    Season 6: 21 points

    Season 19: 10 points ( I don't think we'll see any more episodes from this season)

    I too kind of wish that Season 1 got more love. Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire may make the list but I doubt anything else will.

    Moaning Lisa deserves to be higher. I got a lump in my throat when I first saw it and Marge realized that it was OK for Lisa to be sad. The subplot with Homer getting his ass kicked by Bart in the video game was hilarious. Great stuff all around.

    I re-watched the Crepes of Wrath recently (for my assignment). It stands up to much of seasons 3, 4, and 5. I should have given it a place on my list. (A low place perhaps, but a place nonetheless.)

    (By the way, if anyone gets to pick their own topic when doing a talk or research paper for schoo;, pick something fun. It really helps. I got to watch DVDs and pretend I was doing work.)

    It's a disgrace if the best episode of Season 1 - Life on the Fast Lane, doesn't make the list.

    interesting to see 2 has the 3rd most points so far, although I imagine a large chunk of episodes for the more popular series will appear soon
