I don't care...
This can't be worse then the new Simpsons...
100 times better then what the Simpsons aired tonight. Danny Smith is my favorite writer and this episode was no exception. 4/5, B+.

I thought it was suprisingly good and well written, though can't quite found a proper rating for it. (aside from the multiple Peter joke, it wasn't that funny)
Anyone amused that all Stewie figure are from the 80's
Well I see there are some actual reviews of the episode here and not simply bashing tonight's Simpsons....oh wait, there aren't...(except Redem who posted his little snip while I was writing this)
Anyway I only managed to catch the second half from around where Joe is telling Lois she can't really do anything in the kitchen and berating her about the Policeman's Ball. Several things made me shake my head like the overly long, pointless, and totally unfunny Peter roll-call. However, I will give the writers credit that Lois' actual speech at the end that persuaded the parents of the little boy seemed to make sense and was actually kind of convincing. I did like the callback to the Policeman's Ball but it only got a smile out of me. I won't give it an actual grade since I missed some of it but I'd say it seemed alright most of the time with some generally poor things mixed in as well....
Also, that Thelma and Louis reference was basically the same as the one they did on Robot Chicken years ago.
This episode was too biased and close minded. Despite the probabilities, I didn't like how everyone assumed the kid would die just because he didn't go to the hospital. I think there could be some better story-telling possibillities if they weren't so literal.
Seasons 1-9 - Classic era
10-12 - Scully era
13-16 - Silver age
16.5 - Into the abyss
17 - The shit abyss
18-24 - Zombie Simpsons

Didn't like this really but miles better than tonights Simpsons episode (Which says a lot)
2/5, 4/10 D+
I thought the Peter roll call was the funniest part. Overall a pretty decent episode. Definitely added to the left winged heavy handedness of recent seasons but whatever, can't argue with Lois on this one.
Signature.
The Peter call seemed to be the only enjoyment I took from the episode (exclusing the opening theme of course).
Really, I dislike political episodes like this. It's just a game of people saying "your views suck and i'm right, so listen to me!" Which really just pisses me right off. I am more on Lois' side (not as over the top obviously), but it really wasn't her choice to make regarding the kid getting treatment. I mean, how would you like for someone to stick their nose in your business and tell you what's right and what's wrong in their opinion? She barely even knew these people and felt so strongly about this kid that wasn't hers to begin with. In the end it wasn't her call and I felt it was very selfesh of her to make such a move for these people. The whole kidnapping and conclusion thing sorta bothered me really. 2/5
peter roll call was funny, all in all pretty boring episode
I'm Krusty, who are you? by NoHomers.net
Backdoor Sluts 9 makes Crotch Capers 3 look like Naughty Nurses 2
3.7/5
A pretty good episode not great but much better than average. With a couple lol moments like the Thelma and Loues bit. And Lois's speech was really good and very persuasive. The best line "Everyone's getting laid".
This was way better than tonight's Simpsons and I didn't even watch tonight's Simpsons.
3/5
I'm glad it's not the preachy dramatic mess I was expecting it to be.

watched it this morning and the only things i remember are the various peters scene and the very ending. 2.5/5 or so

"We're Christian scientists."
Ho, boy. At the very least they're not worried about offending crazily religious people. Funny that the Simpsons opened with an arguably anti-religious joke this week.
I don't think Stewie making unrelated remarks while being carried or otherwise held by someone is that funny. The whole episode seemed like template humor. For example, Stewie says he has a friend with leprosy, then it pans to include the kid and his arm falls off. Hilarious.
It wasn't selfish of her to put a child's welfare in front of some radical beliefs.
Lois was told that "what [Scotty] has is highly treatable" and yet they were just going to pray it away.
That was a reference to the controversial Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists trailer. http://www.movie-moron.com/?p=21096

Yes it was. She did it for her benefit and her beliefs and stuck her nose in their business when she barely even knew them. What she did is like a person taking a women's baby from the hospital and focing her to get the baby circumsized because they feel it's the right thing to do. It's their baby and in the end they do what they feel is best because it's their child, not Lois'.

No, she did it for the child's benefit because he wasn't receiving treatment for an illness. What would have been selfish is to ignore the child because it was more bother to help him.
Actually, it's not like that at all. Cosmetic surgery is not the same as cancer treatment. What she did is like a person taking a women's baby from the hospital and focing her to get the baby circumsized because they feel it's the right thing to do.
...And this is exactly why political episodes suck so much on Family Guy. I could have been dealt with in a much more creative and entertaining manner.

I don't. I just don't like the storytelling and closeminded path the writers took when creating this episode. It was too predictable for my liking.
That was a good and funny episode![]()

My memory is a little fuzzy, but I did enjoy the Peter roll call thing. Also loved the ending with Peter in place of Kate Middleton.
Other stuff I liked:
The opening
"Who else is on the train?"/"Kevin Smith 'cause he's too fat to ride a plane"
Post Roe vs. Wade Brady Bunch
The Peterang
"Well fuck me in the ass with a big black cock"
7th day adventist cut-away
Overall a pretty enjoyable episode
Just be thankful
