I love dark humour. One of my favourite comedians is Frankie Boyle, whom I recently discovered is described on TVTropes.org as "Pitch-Black-To-The-Point-Of-No-Return-On-An-Infinite-Journey-Into-Hell Comedy" (As opposed to "Dark comedy") and "Rotting-Corpse-Pile-Consisting-Of-Many-Infants Comedy" (As opposed to "Dead baby comedy").

The subjects he covers in his stand-up and on various comedy panel shows are things that any other comedian would consider career suicide such as murder victims, kidnap victims, mental disabilities (Down Syndrome, Autism etc.) , religion (Including Muslims), the families of the aforementioned murder and kidnap victims, cancer, AIDS, physical disabilities or peple with deformities (From the Elephant man to burn victims), rape....the list goes on and on really. For years he was known as "The Dark heart of Mock the Week".

Part of the reason he gets away with the majority of it is because it's hilarious on Mock the Week when he's playing off of the other comedians around him and because he's Scottish, the accent just makes a lot of his bitterness come out 10 times stronger.
