Some nice selections from the 90's there Riviera. Here is a sample of one of my favourite bands from the 90's :
best album of the 90's is illmatic
This has always been my personal favourite DMB song:
My favourite DMB song? This rendition of "Two Step" from Red Rocks Amphitheater, August 1995:
DMB is one of the best live acts out there, just tremendous improvisation and muscianship all around. To really see them extend themselves check out the live at Central Park version of "Two Step" as well. Nearly 20 minutes of musical bliss.
Dave Matthews Band are awesome. My favourite track by them however, is Gravedigger. I'd really like to learn this one on acoustic guitar.
I mentioned it so I might as well just post it ( listen for the "New York, New York" interpolation @ 7:11):
Can you tell I like DMB's extended jams?

I've heard that one several times on tv, but I just can't place it...
Wolfmother was really like a 2-Hit Wonder. Their other good song, which was more popular, was called "Woman"....I totally suggest checking it out.
Anyone into this amazing band?
The sheer variety that this song offers blows my mind. And most of their songs have a very deep meaning to them which is what I look for in a band

Dear You by Jawbreaker
Jimi Hendrix was one of the greatest musicians to ever live! I haven't heard this song in quite some time, heard it last night, and wanted to share it with you all.
Enjoy.
Well played, sir! But I'm afraid to say that I'd have to add Slash from Guns 'N' Roses to the list too!
My Top Ten Rock Guitarists:
1. Eric Clapton
2. Jeff Beck
3. Jimi Hendrix
4. Eddie Van Halen
5. Jimmy Page
6. Tony Iommi
7. Ritchie Blackmore
8. David Gilmour
9. Chuck Berry
10. Pete Townshend
Slash would be in the top 50.
Thanks!
Here's a recent discovery though:
And another favourite that I've failed to post a video on:
Something a bit harder from Opeth:
