Why would I make a 20 MINUTE VIDEO FOR SHOCK VALUE?

Well it's obvious...

1. If the episode length is 20 minutes then it furthers the illusion that this is an actual episode, when they watch it; they'll immediately be freaked out. Therefore, instant lulz.
2. 20 minutes full of odd images, robot voices, characters saying stuff like kill each other, rape, some sexual acts, weird images set to weird music and weird transitions is like genius for a troll. And anybody who watches the full 20 minutes is a definite target.
3. Nothing is off limits when it comes to shock value, even the reasons for why people wouldn't create a 20 minute video don't seem to apply. If it's possible, it's possible.

Good anology, but you forgot one thing. Thomas never had any train accidents of any kind. I just labeled this as "shock value." simply because it's made in a way similar to most 4chan videos. The author of the videos can argue that this is supposed to be a parody/satire of The Simpsons in the future and how random and downhill it has gotten but this doesn't feel anything like a Simpsons parody, anything. Le Jake's "modern simpsons episode" is a much funnier and more accurate parody/satire of how much The Simpsons have gone downhill.
