THE SPRINGFIELD FILES


Thanks to everyone who participated in the Alphabetical Episode Elimination Tournament, lasting from May 25th to December 5th.

Awww.... Homer Badman should have won. Don't get me wrong, The Springfield Files is a great episode, but it appears to be very overrated. Plenty of episodes that were eliminated before it in the finale (e.g. Cape Feare) are far better. Also, whilst The Springfield Files is pretty funny, if we're looking at humour not the only thing that matters, but is probably the main driving force of these two mentioned episodes), then Homer Badman is waaaaaaaaaaaay better. It's a funny episode vs the funniest episode ever made (plus Badman has the additional benefit of great satire, which the Sprinfield Files lacks in comparisson)

Nonetheless, the episodes that made it into the final, for the most part, deserved to get to the final.

I'd also like to say thank you, Financial Panther, for running this tournament.

deserving winner, imo. i know a lot of people are going to say they think it is overrated, and there are probably others who feel it shouldn't have even won the "T" tournament, but this really surprised me (in a good way).

thanks for running this financial panther. there have been some surprises along the way and it has been fun to partake in.
