Yep that's pretty much the consensus. Mainly, at least for me, because none of the first 14 sets have been green (unless you count Season 8 as green, which I don't. More of a teal). Red, blue, purple, black all have been repeated, but never a solid green.

I always thought it was green, but it's kinda hard to tell exactly what colour is it because it's a shiny foil stuff. Eventually didn't they re-package the original five seasons into a non-shiny version? It might be easier to tell like that what colour it actually is.

Anyway, The Simpsons Season 15 came out on DVD and Blu-Ray today... then I woke up - BAH! I hate dreams like that, which seem so real but they're obviously not. Anyways, I'm looking forward, as always, to getting S15 on DVD. I like the season alot, even though S11, S15, and S16 are my least favourite.

i was looking at my s2 DVD and I'd say it's blue. then again, i can't always distinguish between certain colors, so i may be wrong.

also, merzitar, your story reminded me of a time when i had a dream about owning one of the seasons. it was season 4 and i really wanted to get it for christmas (this was back in i reckon 2006 or 7 or so), and i had a dream i had it. the innards were all blue, like the packaging; you couldn't tell which character was which. good times

This dream talk reminds me of one that I had where I got season 19. It was white and had Sideshow Bob on the front. It was weird because I was in the store for some other reason in the dream and I just happened to stumble upon it.

And that reminds me of another dream that I had a few years back lol. I think it was when Season 11 had recently been announced. Basically, in the dream, we were in the car when we just happened to pass a roadside market stall, by a field. Something caught my eye, it was a new Simpsons release. It was a very shiny violet and had Party and Selma on the cover.

Like many people have said before though, and rightly so, the show will probably go back to it's 2 season a year release strategy once it's all over, meaning the producer's etc will have more time to be able to work on things such as commentaries and putting together the sets, heck, we might even get 3 in a year (yet that's a little too hopeful). The only reasoning I can see behind the move to Christmas (and I've said this somewhere before) is because they've realised they're not gonna be releasing any more than one per year, and wheras they'd still get the Christmas sales from one release in August and another in December they're not gonna get that releasing one in August, so they release it in December instead. The way I see it we'll be getting 15 in Dec '12, 16 in Dec '13, 17 in Dec '14 and then it'll go back to two per year (that is assuming it ends at Season 25) and we'll get 18 in Aug '15, 19 in Dec '15, 20 (re-release) in Aug '16, 21 in Dec '16 and so on until Season 25 comes out along with 'The Complete Collection' in time for Christmas 2018.

So best case scenario is we wont be sitting with a full collection for another 7 years...

With any luck 2014, by the end of Season 25. Although in reality it doesn't really concern you or me, seeing as everyone at NHC will most likely be long dead before the show actually ends! Ya'll think Season 23 is bad, wait for Season 53! *shudder*
