why you hating on vhs, joe?

I'm not, I just honestly didn't know people still used them. I figured people would either be on DVD or Blu-Ray, or whatever's 'hip' nowadays.
People are slow to change, in numerous ways.![]()
blu-rays
i want to watch tv on the worst quality tv possible.

I watch DVDs, and there are some VHS movies around, like Jeepers Creepers, but I never watch 'em.
i wouldn't re-watch jeepers creepers on any format.

I wasn't implying it was a good film, I was just saying it was one of the ones we had on VHS.
yep.

It's one of the only films I remember having, honestly.
Oh wait, there was also a film called "Life, or Something Like it." That a better choice?
Picked these couple of hard to find comic books up on a comic book chat board. Both issues are signed by Bill Morrison... Love em!

I have a good friend in the US who hooks me up with a lot of cool comics. He's getting me the almost impossible signature of Matt Groening on a Krusty#1 graded comic at San Diego Comic Con in July. He's got Matt's signature the last 2 years at the con. It takes hours of waiting and HUGE dedication to get it as he can turn up at anytime and there are no arranged signings....
Speedmaster, I am so jealous! I wish he could get me a comic signed by Matt Groening!

some news reporter chick gets news from a psychic that she apparently only has one week to live and she tries to find out why and fix it or something. i never finished it.

I read Zombie Simpsons: How the Best Show Ever Became the Broadcasting Undead. It was an amazing book, and I'll probably read it again sometime.

that "book" just frustrated me. couldn't get through it.

Really? How so? I disagreed with a lot of the stuff he said, but I was still entertained throughout.
That's an actual book? I could never read that, I find the title aggravating I can only imagine how angry I'd get trying to get through it.
I'm not sure I could read a book that disses Marge Be Not Proud, especially for the reasons you gave in that other thread. "It tarnishes Bart's bad boy image"? Yes, because Bart's character is supposed to be completely emotionless and uncaring.
Favourite/least favourite by seasons that I own (somewhat stolen from Financial Panther):
3 - Dog of Death/When Flanders Failed 4 - Lisa's First Word/So it's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show 5 - Secrets of a Successful Marriage/Bart's Inner Child 6 - And Maggie Makes Three/Another Simpsons Clip Show 7 - Marge Be Not Proud/Bart the Fink 8 - Homer's Phobia/The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase 9 - King of the Hill/Trash of the Titans 10 - Wild Barts Can't Be Broken/Maximum Homerdrive

The exact paragraph for that is:
"The episode is made all the more jarring by having Bart be the one who sinks into guilt and self-pity. Bart was America's bad boy, the underachiever who was proud of it. Here he acts like every sitcom kid since television began, haunted by something he did and crushed that his mother is disappointed in him. The Simpsons had never before handled emotion that clumsily."
