It wasn't the Simpsons, it was the "Homer and Friends Wacky Half-Hour."

It wasn't the Simpsons, it was the "Homer and Friends Wacky Half-Hour."
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

i don't care about plots or anything. if it's funny, it's funny. i can't see how anyone can genuinely like any season after season 11 more than season 11.
I'm like disco stones. I know that season 11 is far from being one of the best season but I will never understand why people here hate this season so much...

If a GOOD season....Say, season 4 was a sentence, it would read like this:
"The man went to the store to buy, milk, eggs and ham, but found out he was short on cash, so he left."
Here is the same sentence written in S11's style:
"tBH MNA wnt 2 sture 2 buy melk==eggz en HAm, butt (ha, me said BUTT!!!!) fund out he wuz broak an gotz out!!!!!" HAHAHA LOLOLOL FUCKU INTERNET NERdS!!!
It's funny to have the show be like this every once in a while, but it's ANNOYING AS FUCK when it became like this 90% of the time, especially when it was Homer becoming the star of nearly ever goddamn episode.

i like lisa episodes, just not as much.
EDIT: he was editing his posts.

The best season is season 7 that's it!
Anyway, stop this discussion, the subjet is your latest acquisition.

i'd just like to know how it's retro-nerd?
latest acquisition: Bart Simpson #68

thanks for the straight answer.

I thought you liked it when characters acted like ranting idiots.

Erm... was all of this necessary?
What the fuck is going on here?
my last acquisition's where a couple of re-released collectors editions of a couple of seasons.
in the mean time they all are as good as broken, i threated them as gold yet they degraded because they where on 24/7...
it cost me a small fortune to buy them.

my all time favorite episodes :
El viaje misterioso de nuestro Homero, the springfield files, the old man and the lisa, how they saved lisa's brain, realty bites, whacking day, Homer the Great, Mayored to the Mob, Hurricane Neddy, Monty Can't Buy Me Love, You Only Move Twice, King-Size Homer, Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming, Two Bad Neighbors, Homer the Smithers, Kidney Trouble.
the old treehouse of horror episodes.
I just made a rather nice haul of Simpsons Comics 1 straight through to 72 for £50. Not bad.
It does give me doubles though, and in two cases, triples.
This...
I know I won it but I just had to buy it again! To have an acquisition.

I also managed to get Radioactive Man #1, #4, #100, #106, #222, #575, #679, #1000, and the Movie Adaption.
My collection got a pretty nice boost: http://garygadsdon.com/stuff/comics.html

Picked these couple of hard to find comic books up on a comic book chat board. Both issues are signed by Bill Morrison... Love em!
