    Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

    They played the steve mobs scene over the radio this morning. It was deemed by the announcer that thanks to the simpsons, it's one of his more memorable moments in recent culture. That's lame even for mainstream radio.

    I guess you can say Steve Mobs is sleeping with the fishes now

    I certainly think the passing of Steve Jobs means the passing of Steve Mobs. Given the show's less-than-positive take on the character, I think that's for the best. At least, in the short term.

    I thought that was a great episode (or, at least the Apple spoof parts were), but I think it would be in bad taste to run the episode anytime soon.

    All kidding aside, I'm going to take a guess and say that there will be an episode where Steve Mobs dies and someone will do all that he can to save him only to have him die, I mean how else can you parody his death and sneak in a message about enjoying the time you have in life?

    I don't think so. I mean, I hope not. In more than 20 years, how many references has the show made to Jobs/Mobs? One, that I can find. They've referenced Bill Gates as often. Not that I think the writers are necessarily above doing it, but I think it would looks cheap and exploitative.

    Shouldn't a pun only occur if it is actually funny and rolls off the tongue? For example, most of the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons are titled in a funny manner. Meanwhile, the whole replacing every Apple product with an 'M' thing made no sense and was plain stupid. If anything, the product name MyPod has less of a lingual flow to it than iPod. I hope he died the most brutal, painful death anyone has ever experienced in the animal kingdom.
