Whilst I don't like anything Apple-related, I admire him for being able to make people happy for many years, and many MANY years to come. This is very sad.
R.I.P

This is the second person I thought was cool who died on one of my birthdays...the other was Rodney Dangerfield in 2005.
Goddamnit...this blows.
EDIT: And now I find out Charles Napier has died on Oct. 5th. Double![]()
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
RIP Steve Jobs![]()

I didn't know this but Steve Job's has a sister named Mona Simpson.
^
You're kidding...right?
Anywhoo and anyway...1955-2011 RIP

No, I'm not.
"Later in his life, Jobs crossed paths with his biological sister while seeking the identity of his birth parents. His sister, Mona Simpson (born Mona Jandali), is the well-known author of Anywhere But Here — a story about a mother and daughter that was later adapted into a film starring Natalie Portman and Susan Sarandon. After reuniting, Jobs and Simpson developed a close relationship. Of his sister, he told a New York Times interviewer: "We're family. She's one of my best friends in the world. I call her and talk to her every couple of days.'' Anywhere But Here is dedicated to "my brother Steve." "

That's also the same Mona Simpson, by the way. She was formerly married to Richard Appel, who named the character after her when he wrote Mother Simpson (this was when they were still married).
Blew your mind?![]()
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?
He was an inspiration to us all. I'm an Apple fanboy and... just... it's a pity he died, and with so much more life left to live.
This was a sad thing to hear. RIP, Steve.![]()

It's just 1 guy no matter how big his accomplishments.
"I shouldn't have eaten that packet of powdered gravy I found in the parking lot..."

"Feeling down about Steve Jobs's Death? There's a lap for that."
"Did you exchange, a walk on part in a war, for a lead role in a cage?"
