Okay, I'll admit there are some Simpsons items I really want, but it's not the stuff you can just get off Amazon. Here are some items that I missed that were for sale:
1. The Gold Album Award for "Simpsons sing the Blues" ...
Was actually for sale for less than $100.
2. "Testify!" -- The Promotional CD with this cover book:
3. Those plastic car window hangers from the early 90s. Yeah, I had them, but they broke after 20 years of sitting in a box.
4. The Album Award for "Baby on Board"
This was the actual award given to Dapper Dan (from his website) whose contribution with his Barbershop friends helped create the Be Sharps. The actual Fox promo for "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" looked very similar and was available on ebay from time to time.
5. Simpsons Promotional Press Kits.
Quite rare and quite expensive. I was in a bidding war on ebay almost 10 years ago for the Simpsons Seventh Season promotional press kit. (I had to back out at $800) These kits contain one of a kind items like CD's with radio commercials, fliers, mini-posters, contact info with people from Fox and other rare stuff. They come in a 30 pound box that looks like a neighborhood recycling container, but have "The Simpsons Press Kit" written on the side in the Groening Font.
Not counting stuff that's autographed, has anyone seen anything else really rare?
