    R&R: The 30% Iron Chef

    Rate and review this episode.

Rewatched it a couple of days ago and I loved the table wormhole gag and the subplot about Zoidberg and the Ship in a bottle was really funny. The central plot about Bender and his cooking was quite good as well so overall, I think it's a solid episode.

Preety cool episode, especially with Zoidberg destroying the Professor's bottled ship and trying to commit suicide by stabbing himself with Chairman Koji's katana in the end, only for it to bend out of shape forcing him to blame Fry again before doing his trademark scuddle.

This episode's okay, but probably in the bottom 15 or so for me. There's just something too mundane and dull about it; I feel Bender episodes sometimes suffer from this, particularly when he's basically by himself or separated from the main crew for too long through an episode. It doesn't really do much with the show's setting, and Bender's desire to become a chef isn't really interesting enough to sustain a 22 minute story, which leads to the intentionally mundane subplot. Still, there's enough laughs in it for it to be a perfectly watchable episode, but I find it to be among the more forgettable episodes of the series.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

I loved Zoidberg's b-plot just as much as Bender's great a-plot, this one is a classic in my home.

    5/5.

Not one of my favourites at the time, absolutely not. It grew on me throughout the years though.
But then again most episodes of the original run look great in hindsight if we compare with the newer ones. (which are still good but definitely lack something)

I know this post is over a year old and you don't post here anymore but...seriously? This is probably in my top fifteen.
