To be fair it managed to be more "a show about nothing" than Seinfeld ever did

Isn't it 100 episodes to get to syndication?

People who think Cleveland show is better than modern Simpsons are the worst kind of people. Even at the Simpsons worst, during like season 18 or whatever, they were atleast approaching glimmers of watchability of some kind. The Cleveland Show is an abomination.

Wait, wait... Who told us we don't like American Dad or Family Guy? We just don't like The Cleveland Show.
Nobody watches The Cleveland Show just like nobody watches the fourth hour of Today.

Lol, I think bladeworks was doing a sarcastic imitation of a typical Seth fanboy, Zombies.

The only reason they picked Cleveland to do the spin off is because he is black and it has resulted in Family Guy getting worse and The Cleveland show well being alive(which is incredible shit)

I think the spinoff was made to be bad so family guy would look good incomparason. Either that or it is a parady of bad spinoffs (Like the simpson spinoff showcase). I say this because the writing in this show is so bad that you would have to go out of your way to write this badly.

That, and the show was too similar to Family Guy for my tastes. I mean why should I watch this with minor character alterations (there is no escaping the similarities at all.) and a pseudo family-friendly sense when I can just watch the original Family Guy... One thing I also noticed is that this contains more sitcomish plots than either Family Guy or The Simpsons.
I'm guessing the only reason they keep renewing the show despite the near universal despise is the syndication benefits. I mean three McFarline sitcoms... Adult Swim, TBS and the syndicated local stations would love to have another McFarline show to add to boost their profits.

No more half measures
Shouldn't someone close this thread? I mean nobody's really posting any TCS quotes. It's just a thread to make fun of/insult the show and while I agree with you guys, that's really not the intention of the thread. Besides hate for TCS has already been expressed on numerous other threads so I don't see why another one is needed.
Maybe i'm being unreasonable but I dunno....

Remember Me As I Was
I liked the black Thomas the Tank Engine.
That is all.
But seriously, if it isn't cancelled this season after it has been syndicated, I'll be very pissed.
Just because I'm stupider than them, they think they're smarter than me!

Friends with Rock Strongo
I'm glad some of you have given it a chance; some of you have admitted to liking it. Me, it's fallen off my radar for about the same reasons stated above. While Cleveland Jr. provides some laughs, I have trouble understanding the appeal or likeability of Rollo, Holt, the bartender or much of the other cast members in the ten or so episodes I've seen.
About the only thing I admire is the vocal talents of Mike Henry as Cleveland and Kevin Michael Richardson, who plays Cleveland Jr. Cleveland's voice has become faster-paced (which, yes, takes away a characteristic of his developed from Family Guy), but it has been opened up a bit for more emotion and versatility. Cleveland Jr.... just has a really, really funny voice.
The show attempts to break the fourth wall from time to time, which can bring its own delights, but I simply can't relate to The Cleveland Show and find it of little redeeming value. Since it doesn't speak to me at all, I've decided to not pay attention to its development. Not only was Cleveland's voice changed, but his personality was as well; he's much more a bumbling
