That's too nice; they killed her off for a reason.
That's too nice; they killed her off for a reason.
Even after she dies ned is still not safe from the dangers of maude, her soul comes back and tries to gas everyone at Praiseland

Another question: Why would she underline passages in Ned's bible? Clearly not because she couldn't find her own but because she wanted to play with Ned's mind. Just imagine Ned reading a bible with all the depressing passages underlined.
you, sir, are a genius
calmer than you are
Ned has to be one of my favorite characters.. And there has always been a nagging feeling for me about Maude. This genius post has cleared the fog, Many thanks!
Bigger than Jesus..
+1 very good read.
I love ponies
i have no interest in anything but my interests
Personally I thought she was just jacking off material for very lonely guys but wow O_o your argument has swayed me.

how many lives' must you ruin?!
More proof:
"Reverend Timothy Lovejoy says he's counseled a number of disenchanted wives, including Maude Flanders."
Oh...my...god...I'll never look at Maude the same way again. O.o
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

are you referring to the last quote in this thread? that was from (i'm pretty sure) I'm With Cupid, from s10.
if i'm wrong someone can obviously correct me, but i'm pretty sure that's where it is from
Yup, it's I'm With Cupid.
"Maude spies on her, then threatens her not to touch anything at get out"
She's very controlled about people/or Marge touching her stuff.![]()

BUMP
Just to show this to some of the newer members who haven't seen it, this is what genius looks like.

Awesome read. I was only the other day talking to my fiance about maude being a little less christian than the others.

Maude Flanders: My eyes have been soiled!
Homer: Come on, Maude. The human wang is a beautiful thing!
Homer: Here's your giraffe, little girl!
Ralph: I'm a boy!
Homer: That's the spirit! Never give up.

This is from Maude's first scene in the series, and she's already trying to bite off Ned's head.
''Ned, maybe I'm not the one you should be talking to.''
That's stone cold. Ned's in a time of need and his own wife is smiling and pretty much tells him to get lost. Even Marge listens to Homer when he's just rambling.
It seems the two fathers have to wear their wives Sunday dresses, but I must ask ONE QUESTION.
When have we seen Maude wear that dress?
Never.
She was trying to humiliate Ned by making him wear women's clothing that she doesn't even own, and she succeeded.
The only reason she's not laughing is because Ned is actually happy.
Keep in mind, this is from her FIRST APPEARANCE.
