This elimination pretty much got my opinion of best to worst down despite a few exceptions. It hit the nail on the head when it came to the worst and best episode IMO and everything in between is fairly accurate. The only thing that I don't agree with is that 500 Keys should have been eliminated at least in the first half of the list. It contains glaring plot holes, particularly bad character moments, lazy subplots, and is littered with lame, dragged out jokes. I'm glad Homer The Father won. It was the only episode so far this season that I voluntarily watched a second time.

I think it was Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou, but I could be wrong.

As for this, Homer the Father is my 4th favorite of the season, and Homer Scissorhands is my 2nd. So a slightly overrated episode in my opinion, but still a strong one.

Homer the Father is a deserving winner and most of the list is very reasonable, but I'm afraid I'll never understand the like toward MoneyBART. On paper it wasn't too offensive and somewhere in the middle of the pack, but I really had trouble watching the product it translated to on the screen.

Happy with the top 3 and bottom 7-8, though I feel that Moms I'd like to forget is too low and This Isn't Your Life is too high (poor clone of a season 9 episode with poorly executed subplot).

Homer the Father WINS!!!!! My favorite episode of the season!!!!

As I said the top 5 are my top 5 of this season and probably in that order too, but Donnie Fatso is much too high and I don't think The Fool Monty is as terrible as everyone says.

I agree that The Fool Monty is better than rated, but strongly disagree that Donnie Faso is too low. (Can somebody tell me how to break somebody's quote into individual parts and respond to each one?)

I didn't really find Homer The Father that memorable, but maybe I juat need to re-watch it. To be honest I'm a little iffy abouut the final list. My two favorites were probably The Great Simpsina and Flaming Moe. I still can't get my mind around A Midsummers Nice Dream made top ten, it was not funny or clever in anyway whatsoever. Still this was a fun activity and I look forward to doing more

Midsummer's Nice Dream was pretty damn terrible, several episodes should have been above it I agree.

Yeah Homer the Father is a deserving winner. But 500 Keys is a bottom 5 of the season. Maybe even bottom 3 so terrible.

I just don't see what's special about Homer the Father. I mean it's an okay episode but it's nowhere near the masterpiece that everybody claims it to be. Now Homer Scissorhands; best of Season 22 hand down, no doubt whatsoever.

Being an okay episode pretty much puts it near the top of the season in my books.

While The Great Simpsina is my favourite of this season, I'm still happy that Homer the Father won.

I find the rankings do show which episodes are the best of Season 22. I'm happy that Homer the father won (even though It's not my favorite episode of the season). I'm a bit disappointed to see The Fool Monty so low in the rankings. I'll have to take a look at the reviews for the episode Love is a many Strangled thing because I don't quite understand all the hate for this episode. In my opinion It is certainly a lot better than Elementary School Musical, A Midsummer's Nice Dreams and The Fight before Christmas that have absolutely nothing in them. Oh, well It doesn't matter, everyone has their opinion.

I think the Fool Monty lost a lot of points for the idiotic suicide sequence and skull collapsing moments. I found it nice for him to be the all-out villain (rather than senile fool like in Homer vs Dignity, Mansion Family), but him going braindead for the majority of the ep ruined that.

My top 5 is all in the top 7 of this list so I am pretty happy with the results. Love Is A Many Strangled Thing I personally would move way up the list. I loved that episode. I can't believe they didn't explore the strangling as a major plot point until this season. I thought they did it well too. Donnie Fatso and Elementary School Musical I would also have moved up. Still though, I agree with the top four eps 100% so, all in all, I am just nit-picking.

The Fool Monty and Love is A Many Strangled Thing may be some of the worst episodes of the last three years.

I still don't think either of those episodes are that bad, though I get the criticism they receive. Love is a Many Strangled Thing in particular(I've actually re-watched that one several times) has a story that keeps me interested throughout and has many funny jokes. I will grant Bart texting while Homer is dieing went too far, but that happens near the very end of the episode anyway and isn't enough to ruin it for me.

I've always been good with episodes in seasons, but pretty much every episode from s22 runs in my mind and gets mixed up. I sometimes can't even remember if an episode aired in that season or 21.

that said, 22 was pretty terrible, and i can barely remember the 'good' that came from it. mostly a lot of mediocrity

    same.

I didn't even know Homer the Father was well liked here. It's honestly a really average episode.

500 keys is so weird, reception-wise. some people find it the best of the season where others find it either the worst, or one of the worst. it's pretty mixed
