Oh God...what was our sin!?
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
come on! Homer eating lady gaga's suit was great!

Him burning her badly with the torch would have been better.
And didn't Lisa get Maggie all glamoured out when they couldn't get to Bart?
My beef with the Gaga episode isn't so much the fact that it's a musical celeb invading Springfield, since we've seen that sort of thing in a number of past episodes. It's that from what I've seen of Gaga outside her music, she has a really annoying "embrace your inner monster, dare to be different, this is serious fucking business" thing.
Like that official Lady Gaga comic book where this fat white dude is mesmerized by her music and becomes a celebrity stalker cross dresser who ends up meeting Gaga and Gaga is totally cool with the dude. I have the feeling that she won't allow the sort of celebrity mocking other guest stars endure on the show. It'll probably just be a bunch of "lolz, her clothing is wacky! lol raw meat!" jokes with little to no self mocking for those who don't like her or could give a shit about her.
Personally I find her whole act a ripoff of Madonna, and a majority of her music is annoying as hell. I do see that she has talent in terms of her voice and piano playing. Why not lose the costumes and perform with just her musical talent on display? Jeans, t-shirt, piano, no backup dancers for one freakin show. :P
My plan: Treat the Nedna ep as the finale, skip this and catch it after the rate/review thread.
UP AND ATOM!

I don't know anything about her entourage, but was that guy supposed to look like Gary Coleman?
I'd rather Prince do an episode like this than Gaga. But then Prince's chauffeur would be writing the episode. Queue jokes about how a chauffeur is probably a better writer than the current Simpsons writing staff.

If she's wearing a meat costume in the episode, how on Earth will Lisa tolerate this?

I've just noticed that they've given the episode a TV-PG rating. Not that I care, but I'm not sure any Gaga stuff fits in this rating.

The promo was stupid, but I was expecting worse. Of course I have a hunch the episode will still oblige...

I'm looking forward to this, only because I imagine it'll be enjoyably bad.
This is crap.

As for now, I have no clue.
So, there's no promotion for "Ned and Edna's Blend Agenda"? Personally, I was more interested in that than the Gaga episode (which still doesn't look that great).
Thanks to CousinMerl for this great sig!
Seriously, I will not lie to you, I still enjoyed this preview. Especially Abe who really made me laugh.

I actually enjoyed "A Totally Fun Thing" and so far I don't like any bit of information about Gaga episode.
What am I doing wrong?
For me, a totally fun thing was a bit better than the average of the season but not a very good episode.
All I hope is for the Nedna episode to amaze me
This Gaga episode... sure it looks awful but if it focused mainly on Lisa and not on Lady Gaga then it may have potential
