nah, it's The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie show, Season 8; it's Homer's advice for how to improve Poochie

Ahh, Okay, thanks for correcting me . I knew my guess wasn't going to be right. It just comes to show me that even if I've been watching the Simpsons for 7 Years, there is still plenty of stuff I don't know off the top of my head. I know Seasons 1 to 12 a lot better than Seasons 13 to 22. But I've probably only watched "The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show" four times.
Anyway, I was looking at how many Titles we knew for Season 23 on the first page of this Topic. We already know 12 Titles of Episodes that will be a part of Season 23. Not bad!!!

The Sun also Rises?
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
I remember sensing that the show wasn't as good as it used to be when I saw the 200th episode
the fact that there will soon be 300 episodes after that (110 hours, 4.5 days) is completely
I love that story about Mirkin joking they were half way there at the 200th table read. He wasn't even close....and it is rather astounding. Going by days if you decided to start on a Sunday and try and watch the entire series over a week I'm assuming no one would make it past Tuesday.
We have been given a date for the 500th episode but not any information on the episode. The staff must still be trying to decide which episode they want to brainwash us into believing is more than good.
Personally, the episode where Krusty gets his own show on a premium cable network sounds appealing for that landmark.

Ironically both of the alternatives they had for that episode were actually pretty good. I really wish they had used the MacFarlane slam.
I recently saw the ending of Once Upon a Time in Springfield in syndication and the message at the end is cut so in syndication you get no message at the end of the episode.
The end message in episode 500 should be "We finally made it to 500! Please watch all the upcoming 50 sucky episodes so we can celebrate episode 550!"

here's to 500 more could be the message, if there is one
I'm really happy that The Simpsons have lasted this song. It's a huge accomplishment and I hope the show continues to put out more great episodes after the 500th landmark
You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
Everything happens for a reason.
Just be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
Don't worry about the world ending today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
Agreed! Even though the show isn't what it once was, it still pleases me, and I want more watching material!

Fox has given the premier dates for this fall. The 23rd season premier of The Simpsons will be September 25th which is the date I logically expected.
According to that there will be a new episode on October 30. I'm thinking it needs to be "Treehouse of Horror XXII." If so, it would be the first ToH to air that close to Halloween(without going into November) since "Treehouse of Horror X" actually aired on Halloween night 1999.
If that happens they need to reenact Maude's death.
Next year, the Daytona 500 will be airing a week later on February 26th which is the same day the Academy Awards airs and FOX never airs a new episode opposite of that awards show.
I would've also thought FOX would air episode 500 after the Daytona 500 since they could celebrate the number 500 twice but it is not meant to be because of NASCAR and Academy Award and FOX wanting to have what appears to be rigid scheduling of episodes.
