The B-Plot seems uninteresting and the Lisa story is reminding me of Trilogy of Error...guess we'll see.

"MythCrackers"? I hope they fire a cannonball at the wrong target.
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
My expectations for the show are so low right now thanks to the PABF episodes.
I want to be optimistic but... it's really hard. Any word on who the writer will be for the next two episodes?
I've already written off Rags to Riches (aka the British Towelie ep) but I'd like to think there's at least potential for The Daughter Also Rises to wind up decent.
Moe Goes From Rags to Riches looks awful, probably a D+ at best. The Daughter Also Rises may surprise us, but at the moment, it seems C-ish.
My Simpsons Season 23 ratings:
The Falcon and the D'ohman - D Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts - C- Treehouse of Horror XXII: F Replaceable You: C+ The Food Wife: B- The Book Job - B The Man in the Blue Flannel Pants - D The Ten-Per-Cent Solution - C Holidays of Future Passed - B+ Politically Inept, with Homer Simpson - C The D'oh-cial Network - C+ Moe Goes From Rags to Riches - D+ The Daughter Also Rises - B-
Overall: C
I've had no hope for "The Daughter Also Rises" before, I still have no hope after. The "MythBusters" thing is different but I have a feeling it's going to turn out bleh.

On the positive side, none of LaZebnik's recent episodes are really awful either.
With only one episode per season none of his material comes across as half-assed or lazy (ala The D'oh-cial Network) and he seems to be one of the few writers that is improving over time (then again when you start off with panda rape there's only one direction to go).
I don't see why Rob can't at least put together a "3 out of 5" effort with slight potential for a 4 with this Lisa-dates-Scott-Pilgrim plot which I'll take as an improvement for the PABF production line from the litany of 1s churned out thus far.
We now got four promo pictures for the episode "At Long Last Leave" on Foxflash
Grampa Simpson is in two of them so does that mean he too is evicted from Springfield but then again he is family?
We also have the Fox press release for the episode too with a new guest star Alison Krauss recording The Simpsons theme song.

"At Long Last Leave" sounds like a strong contender for the most mean spirited episode ever which is my biggest concern over this episode that they are trying to convince us is "more than good times five"
I was hoping for this episode to have no guest stars but just one is the next best thing. Hopefully it won't ruin the episode too much.
