A Food Rap?
You know when I heard the premise of this months ago I really liked it, but every time I hear something new about the episode it sounds worse and worse. I guess we'll see...

Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

if i know how it ends do i still have to watch the episode?

The Holidays of Future Passed one gave me a wave of nostalgia (which I usually never feel because feelings are gay). Simple family Christmas scene. I like it.
I agree with Diversity Pumpkin.
Also the first promo of the Book Job is nice.
Skinner looks really small in the first one; like he's outside the room.
Oh look, they finally parodied that thing I've been eating for years... It's the bottle on the left btw.
So what's so funny about replacing the chicken with a girl, removing chili and removing it's California origin?

'The Man in the Blue Flannel Pants' sounds like it could be okay - the subplot sounds good. Then again' Replaceable You' sounded like it could have been decent, but IMO, it was pretty dissapointing.
That food rap thing in 'The Food Wife' sounds awful. The episode is sounding less and less promising.
Also, why does everyone in the promo for 'The Book Job' look so bored?
Poochie needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine

The Food Wife isn't even original and it looks like it's going to suck big time.
There used to be a time when Marge dreamed about things that actually mattered.
.
Wow, The Food Wife looks so bad.
All of the clips there looked stale and boring... What is it with these character parodies and the way they're acting, I mean it doesn't even seem natural at all...
This does not look good.
Eh, I dunno those clips didn't seem as bad as the comments led me to believe. I actually laughed out loud at Homer's little sherbert rant, mainly because of how true it is. Homer's ghost saving himself was also nice, but his impulsive nature seems somehow more forced than before. The dream sequence was alright, that one chef using himself to bounce being the best part, and the last clip was just there but wasn't even 30 seconds anyway. Not too bad from the 3 or so minutes I've seen, but that doesn't include Tim and Eric's characters or their dreaded food rap so....again...I guess we'll see.
The last clip was good.
sideshow mel I can understand but why the hell is comic book guy a "foodie" now? this is a guy who eats wheelbarrows full of tacos
