Bart staring at a girl's boobs. This reminds me of the promo for Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy.
David Mirkin mentioned the promo guys at TV Guide somehow had Bart looking up Malibu's skirt as a way to sell the episode.

There's an disturbing edit of the promo floating around and I don't know if I should've laughed or screamed when I saw it.
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
I can't believe Matt Warburton is leaving. He is one of the better writers

Favourite/least favourite by seasons that I own (somewhat stolen from Financial Panther):
3 - Dog of Death/When Flanders Failed 4 - Lisa's First Word/So it's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show 5 - Secrets of a Successful Marriage/Bart's Inner Child 6 - And Maggie Makes Three/Another Simpsons Clip Show 7 - Marge Be Not Proud/Bart the Fink 8 - Homer's Phobia/The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase 9 - King of the Hill/Trash of the Titans 10 - Wild Barts Can't Be Broken/Maximum Homerdrive
It was only a matter of time before that promo pic got 34'd...disturbing but funny.
If it wasn't for us finding out Lady Gaga was guest starring in "Lisa Goes Gaga", I would've said that episode title is the most inane. Personally I think it is already a lousy title.
Forgot to share this gem earlier, I found this when I looked up the edited version of the "Beware my cheating Bart" promo.
EDIT: Please put it in the I&S section, please.

So in this episode the family doesn't have disposable income? Right...
Well it's nice to finally know what "A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again" is about, sounds like it might be decent.
Heh, they actually remembered that their poor. Makes a change. And, Steve Coogan. Steve Fuckin' Coogan is in this episode. And they don't even bother to mention it in the byline with Treat Williams.

Sorry for my english, i use the translator
Is it bad that I had to look up Steve Coogan and still really don't know who he is? Otherwise not much we didn't already know about the episode except the giving away a possession thing...
Thanks for passing along the synopsis for A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again.
Please pass along the promo artwork for the ep once it goes online.
Thanks for the plot MDB

More like A Totally Good Episode That Writers Will Never Do Again, right guys???

I guess this is the antarctic episode then.
It does look like we won't know until the episode airs. If it is, could FOX be withholding that plot element because they're afraid it makes the episode sound terrible?
I once started a thread two years ago where the topic was titles/plotlines you originally thought were fake until you got reliable evidence (such as a FOX press release). The trip to Antarctica would be my most recent answer because it sounded like something that was made up by a person who was complaining that The Simpsons was becoming a shadow of itself especially with the vacation episodes. That "Trip to Israel" episode being a prime candidate for the most universally panned episode ever is something that may have given someone an idea to suggest something that sounds like a new low.
The good news is if the "Trip to Antarctica" episode is the "jumping the shark" episode, we can pan it and not have to worry about being "racially insensitive" or a "PC thug" since everyone knows the population of permanent residents on that continent has always been zero.
