Sounds like a damn fine Bart plot.
Just be thankful
No guest stars sound good. However... There is a feeling that it's going to be bad; mainly due to the fact that I'm assuming Bart is not going to love him and is going to have trouble breaking it off when he sees her face.

"A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again" is apperently Matt Selman's favorite upcoming episode. This is how he describes it:
Nothing unknown, but interesting how the writers look at their own stuff. Also, it's one of Matt Warburton's final episodes, as he's left to join the writing staff of Community. The family goes on a cruise that goes awry in a really creative, fun way. It has a sweet point in the end about the nature of being a kid, and also crazy off the wall South Park style things going nuts. It's about a prank that goes awesomely right.
500 episodes, about 200 good ones.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The episode "Whacking Day'' curiously aired the same day as Seinfeld's "The Contest'', which deals with a different kind of whacking.
Why can't any of the bad writers ever go leave to work on Community, The Office, American Dad, The Cleveland Show, Futurama, (insert comedy with former Simpsons writers here)? It's always the good ones that leave.
Selman's unbridled enthusiasm for this episode only reinforces my own. Can't wait to see that episode in a little over 4 weeks.

On a side note, Lance Kramer is directing an upcoming episode of Futurama, which will presumably air in August.
I don't know how this effects his Simpsons work. Probably not at all. I assume he'll keep directing future Simpsons episodes as well. After all, Napoleon Dynamite was made by the whole Rough Draft staff, while they were still producing Futurama.
My Simpsons Season 24 Ratings/Reviews:
Moonshine River (2,25/5) / Treehouse Of Horror XXIII (3,5/5) / Adventures in Baby-Getting (3,25/5) / Gone Abie Gone (3,5/5) / Penny Wise-Guys (3/5) / A Tree Grows in Springfield (1,75/5) / The Day The Earth Stood Cool (3,75/5) / To Cur with Love (4/5) / Homer Goes to Prep School (3/5) / A Test Before Trying (3,5/5) / The Changing of the Guardian (1,25/5) / Love is a Many-Splintered Thing (2,75/5) / Hardly Kirk-ing (3,25/5) / Gorgeous Grampa (2,25/5) / Black-Eyed, Please (3,75/5) / Dark Knight Court (3/5) / Pulpit Friction (3,25/5)
Futurama - Season 7 :
The Bots and the Bees : 3,75/5 / A Farewell to Arms : 4/5 / Decision 3012 : 3,5/5 / The Thief of Baghead : 3,25/5 / Zapp Dingbat : 2/5 / The Butterjunk Effect : 2,5/5 / The Six Million Dollar Mon : 4/5 / Fun On A Bun : 3,75/5 / Free Will Hunting : 2,25/5 / Near-Death Wish : 3,75/5 / 31st Century Fox : 3,5/5 / Viva Mars Vegas : 4/5 / Naturama : 2,5/5
I notice the intros are abridged in some season 23 eps. Not bad at all since the intros are getting way out of hand imo. Perhaps what they really need to do is just think of short couch gags like before.

Bart suddenly has an urge for cooties.
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
Shauna or however it is spelled appeared in several episodes from The Good, the Sad and the Drugly onward...I think...I know she was in To Surveil, With Love...
"Beware my Cheating Bart" looks like a very good episode!
Homer's plot could be great too. I'm looking forward to this one and to "A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again"!
Sorry for my English

I'm fine with Bart watching boobs, in fact I think his attitude in episodes like Homer's Night Out, Homer vs The Eight Commandment or Bart After Dark kinda fits his crafty personality even more than his naivety in Grampa vs Sexual Inadequacy.
What I find more odd is Shauna actually falling in love with Bart to the point that she'd actually want to show him her boobs. I mean, if she's just a slut she wouldn't mind to show her boobs to everybody, but if she does it because she's in love and wants some sexual relationship it looks weird. Cause she seems quite older than him and it seems to me that having some kind of platonic romance for him would look more believable than her feeling sexually atracted to him. On Bart's side, him watching boobs and liking it sounds perfectly normal to me. Young boys having an interest on older girls' bodies is a more common thing. I don't mean to be sexist, if Shauna were the younger one it would also felt more natural to me that she'd find Bart attractive.
But I feel this will be a good episode regardless. Some aspects may be a little unusual, but both plot and subplots sound realistic enough and down to earth episodes are usually much better managed today than the wacky/surreal ones (except for the format benders or Maxtone-Graham episodes in general that actually put some effort on the surreal aspects and they work--let's forget The Scorpion's Tale for a moment).

I forgot she was even in those episodes; she must of been that much of a background character.
Anyways, the promos look okay; don't think the Bart boob scene will turn out good mainly because of the modern writers. I do think Bart seeing boobs somewhat fits his personality but still...
Well she had lines, but the main joke in both those episodes seemed to be she was "loose."
I wonder how my sister will react when my nephew sees this episode...she despised the sex jokes in the Avatar parody from this years Halloween special so this will probably disturb her too.
