that's assuming frink's machine is accurate and not a buggy piece of crap like a lot of his other inventions

at least I hope that's the case.... the other future episodes had a lot of wiggle room with their narrators, it would be a shame if they just threw that out and said "THIS IS THE DEFINITIVE FUTURE"

Considering it is the first episode of the new production run and they haven't said otherwise I think it is safe to assume that it is still Jean.

    This thread is depressing.

Al's still running the show, as expected. If Matt runs another episode, it could happen, but it definitely won't be the 500th.

And also, no changes whatsoever to the writing staff, as I'd already expected. The only change in the opening credits was Valentina Garza getting her expected full producer credit. Everything else's unchanged. No one left, and no one was hired.

One thing that I did appreciate in these last 3 years was the increasing number of freelance writers. Season 22's production run had no less than 5 episodes written by them (which is also becoming a trend on Futurama).

Stephanie Gillis is pretty much expected yearly, but it's nice to see other people being given a shot at a script, every now and then. They take a shot in the first couple of drafts, before the writing/producing staff takes over.

the number of production does not mean that the showrunner will be Al Jean. we have to remind Mike Scully was the showrunner in the half of chapters with CABF as number of produccion. Maybe Matt selman will be the showrunner in next season.

the time will say (this phrase sounds great in spanish!)

Mike Scully ran ALL of the CABF line and one special episode in the DABF line at the end. Regardless, just listening to Jean in interviews he certainly seems like he has no desire to leave the show.

oh... in that case, matt selman showran two chapters in NABF. why now? Why not five years ago for example? maybe the staff are thinking in change the showrunner although he doesn't want. I just want a better world! i won't lose my hope

Eh, who knows? I don't really care if Jean stays or steps down, all I'm saying is it seems unlikely that he'll leave at this point.

The technicalities of producing the twenty-third season of Fox's long-running series "The Simpsons" originated from serialized literature, and in Aristotle's 'Poetics' as 'pataka'. The earliest known example of this is the One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights), which consisted of a series of serialized stories, or "serialized novels" or novellas.

In addition to titles, the season consists of production codes/numbers for each episode, this time ranging from NABF16 to the currently theorized PABF15 (subject to change). The cost of a 30-second advertising spot during an original broadcast is $254,260. The season will be completed in Spring of 2012.

We have a new title in the US Copyright Database.

    "Penny-Wiseguys"

Production code number is unknown but maybe Mr. Homer will end up telling it to us.

Might that be our first title of Season 24? I believe the only Season 23 episode we still don't have a title for is the finale, correct?

The new title could be the title of PABF15, the possible season finale, but we don't know yet.
