it's kinda humorous how many people are so against lady gaga's appearance. i am certainly not looking forward to it, but still, i find the hate of it amusing.

I respect lady gaga but that episode description is so obnoxiously zeitgeist-y... LADY GAGA! FLASH MOBS! DEBT CEILING NEGOTIATIONS!

I'm more skeptical about Sutherland's appearance really. He has yet to be in an episode where his characters are at all interesting and this one looks no different.

I'll admit that I have high hopes for Falcon and Dohman. It looks, well, funny. But of course, you should never get high hopes.

Judging from the video above; this is not going to live up to expectations.
    What expectations?

BTW, I'm puzzled as to why you people are getting excited over this upcoming season. What is it that turns you on to S23!? Big numbers (#500)? Lady Gaga? Nedna? The only "Good" episodes are the ones that aren't shit terrible? Zombies? Wait, that's season 2 of "The Walking Dead."

Did it take three months of withdrawal to make you forget how terrible last season was? As the amputee said to Dr. Nick, "I'm stumped!".

Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

Amazing, Mr. Homer! This is a bit off-topic, but: do you have information for the entire Sunday Animation Domination line-up, or does your source only provide you with The Simpsons info?

Based on titles alone, I am definitely looking forward to "The Man In The Blue Flannel Pants", "Exit Through The Kwik-E-Mart" (since it isn't the 500th episode after all), "Them, Robot", and, like everyone else, "A Totally Fun Thing That Bart Will Never Do Again".

Almost for the entire line-up, except for Bob's Burgers which starts airing mid-season.

Mr. Homer should not be posting schedules for other animation domination cartoons in this thread. Those need to go in the off topic forum under animated discussion.

That clip alone was better than anything I can remember in Homer the Whopper or Elementary School Musical, and I thought it was just okay so....

I'll probably give Season 23 a watch, since it will be interesting discussing current episodes. 'Them, Robot' and 'A Totally Fun Thing Bart Will Never Do Again' sound interesting, and although it doesn't look great, 'The Falcon and the D'ohman' should at least be a better Season opener than 'Elementary School Musical'.

Here it confirms that "Lisa goes Gaga" is PABF14
and says that is editing and delivering the pre-records for PABF16 episode...
If PABF15 is Season 23 finale episode, this "PABF16" confirms Season 24?

I’m pretty sure we already knew PABF has 22 episodes. This only shows that there is no intent to end the show at season 23. (If there were the intent, it would have been a short order.) But there are still contract negotiations and the official episode pickup to happen before season 24 can be considered “confirmed.” If these fall through, we will either get a long season 23 or a very short season 24.

Here is the plot description for "Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts" to air on October 2nd.

    --“THE SIMPSONS”—(8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) CC-HDTV 720p-Dolby Digital 5.1

    THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE SPECTACLES

    TAKES OVER SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY

    ON AN ALL-NEW “THE SIMPSONS”

    SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, ON FOX

Principal Skinner challenges superintendent Gary Chalmers to take over Bart’s education after one of Bart’s pranks leads to a school fundraiser debacle. Chalmers takes an unconventional approach to teaching American history which sparks a fascination in President Teddy Roosevelt. Encouraged by Bart’s educational renaissance, Chalmers takes Bart and his band of “Rough Riders” on an overnight excursion to Springfield Forest, but after a minor accident, the school administration fires Chalmers for taking the boys on an unauthorized field trip. Determined to get Chalmers’ job back, Bart and the boys hold the school hostage until the administration reinstates Chalmers, and they stand up for the teacher who made a meaningful impact in the all-new “Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts” episode of THE SIMPSONS airing Sunday, Oct. 2 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (SI-2217) (TV-PG L, V)

Voice Cast: Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson; Julie Kavner as Marge Simpson; Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson; Yeardley Smith as Lisa Simpson; Hank Azaria as Moe; Harry Shearer as Skinner; Pamela Haden as Milhouse; Tress MacNeille as Dolph

One thing that has me curious about this episode is who are Bart's band of "Rough Riders"?

'Bart Stops To Smell the Roosevelts' does sound interesting, actually. I wish there weren't so many episodes that begin with Bart pulling a massive prank at school though, it's getting rather dull.
