Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.
high hopes for pretty much all of the mentioned upcoming episodes except for the christmas one. it sounds like a bad mix of lisa's wedding and bart to the future with added snow. the inception parody sounds potentially brilliant though. that dexter thing is ok, could be a bit better, some of the scenarios began repeating and the whole "he's not doing anything evil'' gag got a bit old.

Is it true that there are already some people who have seen the entire Treehouse Of Horror XXII (I'm talking about the fans that were at the Comic-con)? After having read the small article above the clip, it seems as though some people have already seen the episode (or have I misunderstood something...).
I would get excited over this news because they do sound like interesting ideas, but this time last year I was excited for "Love Is a Many Strangled Thing" because it sounded like a fresh idea that dealt upon a recurring thing in the show (Homer's strangling), and that turned out to be shit.
I don't actually care about them having plots that are similar to previous ones, because it's inevitable after so many episodes. The problem is execution, and unfortunately the chances are these ideas with a lot of potential will be average at best.
EDIT: that said I just watched the Ned/Dexter clip and it was actually quite funny.
Just watched the clip, it was alright.

Okay, I demented, but Ned going all "Dexter" on Edna in the premier would be better than whatever the outcome of the voting will be.
Pure speculation but ever since I first read that title it just sounded to me like a Homer/Flanders buddy cop-esque episode.

the Dexter intro is about him and his morning routine, and doesn't show anybody else in it, just him doing things like flossing, making breakfast, etc. and so in this parody video (which wasn't awful, but it wasn't anything special) it would make sense that nobody else except Ned would be in it. i don't think Edna (nor anybody else) being in it matters.
Besides, THOHs are supposed to be non canon.
Ok, thanks.![]()
I'm almost absolutely 100% positive they spent a bunch of money animating two versions of every single scene Flanders and/or Krabappel is in for the entire season and they're just patiently waiting for the big nedna poll to end so they know which versions to go with

In twenty years, we'll get to see the "alternate" Season 23 premier on the Holo-Cube Brain spore format, with "Director POV", so we'll get to experience this episode from Al Jean's POV: "Man, I just thought of a thousand puns for no reason..."

We have a new episode with production code listed in the US Copyright Database
PABF05 - Moe Goes From Rags to Riches
I wonder if this is the "Moe's Tavern through time" episode
I'd be extremely surprised if it somehow wasn't but then I don't know for sure of course...

Sounds quite interesting, I just hope that Moe's relatives don't look exactly like him (Same with any of the main character's ancestors) That just annoys me
I was under the impression it was only the bar itself we'd see in earlier times I mean I suppose it is possible Moe's relatives owned it throughout history but maybe Moe was the first in his family to buy it.?

Wow, a little break from the "punny" titles.

I have to agree, for once it's not entirely stupid.

I'm almost 100 percent positive that episode is the travel through time one.
or, it's about moe going poor and then suddenly becoming rich.
I wish they would do more burns episodes because he is my favorite seccondary character but these days we don't get much Burns and when they give us some it is just jokes about his body falling appart
