Many people think "The Cleveland Show" is weak, but I myself enjoy the show.
I ask myself...if "Family Guy" outlasts "The Cleveland Show"...will Cleveland return to Quahog with The Browns or will he just come back by himself?

He'll stay in Quahag and rot in cancellation for being a generally unfunny character in Family Guy and being a horrid character in his own show.

if this is canceled while family guy is still on, they'll probably just have cleveland magically return to family guy, with no explanation given for his random return
they'll make a bunch of terrible and obvious self-serving metajokes.
Finally, some evidence of someone liking "The Cleveland Show" on NoHomers!
Anyways, Cleveland will return to Family Guy and the whole thing will be made fun of for all eternity.
There's no other way it can happen. I'm guessing the reason Fox keeps renewing "The Cleveland Show" is for syndication purposes. Seth McFarline has 2 shows in syndication, hell why not make that 3 and rake in lots-o-cash!

I'm happy to see nobody called him a McFarlane fanboy...yet.
I hope a nuclear bomb just wipes everything out
I thought Seth was going to warp Family Guy up in a few years anyway
I'm pretty sure he started warping it in 2005....

he's contracted to produce episodes till at least 2012, unless he renews his contract or whatever
I wouldn't be bothered. The Cleveland Show takes it's jokes a hell of a lot further than Family Guy, which I think dosen't make it funny. They also go for the jokes really hard, as it were. The jokes are just getting too dirty. I've completley forgotten Cleveland was a Family Guy character because of his sudden flanderization.
I still find myself watching this show even though I honestly don't even like it. There's been maybe five episodes after which I said, "hey, that wasn't bad". But man, the rest range from mediocre to garbage. After almost two seasons I still can't say I even like a single character on this show except for Cleveland. Roberta is maybe the worst main cast member I've seen on a remotely successful TV show in a very long time. Lester, Holt, and Tim just don't do it for me as the friends group, especially compared to the Joe/Quagmire/Cleveland combo from Family Guy. Loretta is also pretty worthless. Not sure how David Lynch got involved in this project as the bartender, but he's done nothing too. Other horrible side characters include the half-mouth coach, Rallo's buddies, and Lester's big fat wife with the annoying voice. Cleveland really carries this show single-handedly.
Signature.
Characters being named Lester and Holt are the funniest thing about The Cleveland Show. That, and the random Godspeed You! Black Emperor reference.
The Cleveland Show has been consistently tolerable since the beginning. Mostly good episodes, nothing horrid, yet barely anything memorable.
Cleveland has definitely grown out of his shell, and his divorce from Loretta seemed to play a huge role in that. One of the dumbest things about post-cancellation Family Guy is their compulsively killing off so many side characters. But Loretta's death here served a purpose, and still stands as one of Cleveland's best episodes to date.
That said, Cleveland still needs time to differentiate itself from Family Guy to be considered a successful spin-off. Second season in, it should be beyond the point of always reminding us that it's a spinoff. If it ends before Family Guy, just simply undoing the entire series and bringing Cleveland back to Quahog would be a terrible copout.
one thing Cleveland should stop doing is cutaways, American Dad tryed that early on and realized it didn't work

You know, that's NOT the reason for my name.
The reason for my name is because of the misery that we get especially in sports, like this article I made....

No one would really care.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?
This fucking thread...gives me nightmares
Who'da thunk that? Anyways...

I think I have an idea for why "The Cleveland Show" is sucking but it still keeps on going. Maybe the "Cleveland Curse" has something to do with it!!!, you know since it has the word Cleveland in the title.
I would've preferred the original spastic Cleveland Jr
Honeycomb big, yeah yeah yeah! It's not small, no no no!
Cleveland Jr. and Rallo are the only characters that make this show remotely worth watching.
Its not terrible, but its so damn forgettable.
...to be honest I actually enjoy The Cleveland Show way, way more than current Simpsons.
if you want me, honey, baby, I'll be here
What bugs me about this show (at least from the few episodes I've seen) is that Cleveland is like a completely different character compared to how he was in Family Guy. He's short-tempered, snarky and yells at people, which doesn't fit how he was in FG at all. What's the point of making a spin-off show if you're going to abandon the traits of your spin-off character in the first place...?
It's like MacFarlane is incapable of not making the star of his shows a moronic, impulsive jerk, regardless of how the character has been presented in the past.
Then again, it's not like Cleveland's character was ever that good or anything, but at least it had relative consistency.
Judging from the opening of the newest episode, I REALLY wouldn't care.
