characters that are making a comeback

I noticed that Mr. Largo is one such character. Especially with the hints of homosexuality they have been giving the character that started with him carpooling with Smithers in See Homer Run and denying anything else.

Are there any "underappreciated" characters from earlier seasons you believe are making a comeback in recent seasons.

They have been really pushing Largo lately haven't they? It's tough to really call it a comeback since he's never done anything before, sort of an awkward character to bring forward but whatever.

Miss Hoover disappeared for a few years (we still don't see her very often, but I remember there were several years where it seemed she was killed off completely)

I always liked Miss Hoover. 'Think there is a funny line from her in season 4 but can't remember what it was now... her and Ralph's dialogue was often funny.

Exactly. I wouldn't call Miss Hoover a funny character unless good enough dialogue is written for her.

I see Ralph coming back in the more recent seasons. Didn't he disappear for awhile in the middle seasons (i.e. season 13-15)?

I would say Miss Hoover. She just disappeared for a few years, and now she's coming back gradually.

They seem to be using Ms. Krabapple more recently. They somewhat recently had an episode about her. I always thought she was a good simpson's character.
