Honestly, the only above-average Christmas episode for me is Holidays of Future Passed. But nevertheless:

After watching Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire for the first time (I know right?), I'd have to say that it's the one that makes me feel the most Christmas-y. So while Marge Be Not Proud is still technically my favourite, in another sense Open Fire is.

Grift of the Magi was actually one of the better episodes Season 11 had to offer. Good, but not great.

Does "Skinner's Sense of Snow" count? I know it has nothing to do with Christmas, but it does end with donkey (camel?) Lisa saying directly to the camera, "MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE SIMPSONS....HAWWWWWW!!!!!!"

Miracle on Evergreen Terrace is a close second though.

It was a very good episode compared with other episodes in that season, but I wouldn't call it the best christmas-episode.
Too many other strong contenders for that to be true.

I personally loved "Grift of the Magi" and "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" just because they're more Christmas-y than any of the other ones. I don't like episodes that start off with a Christmas setup, but then stray away from that.

Marge Be Not Proud, followed by Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, Holidays of Future Passed, and 'Tis the Fifteenth Season. The only episode listed here that I dislike is Kill Gil, which is IMO probably one of the 10 worst episodes.

I'm pretty sure it's Miracle On Evergreen Terrace...the one where Bart accidently sets his family's Christmas presents on fire and the town of Springfield gives the Simpsons presents, only to find out what Bart did.

Eh, I was never really a big fan of Miracle on Evergreen Terrace. It's not awful, but I've seen better from Season 9.
