I made a mistake on this post. Could someone please explain to me how to delete posts? I can't seem to figure it out.
Ignore. I figured out you can't.

It was a nice change and it shows that he really can be smart enough to figure stuff like that out.
I agree, Black Widower is a classic people often forget.
I also enjoyed the part when Sideshow Bob and Selma sing "Something Stupid." It was just sweet.

Dancin Homer and The Otto Show are a lot better than most people would usually recognize.

Marge Vs Everybody has a really weird plot and some bad gags but it has mostly pretty good humor and fantastic characterizations of Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. And Lindsay Naegle was kinda well used too.

I think Realty Bites is a pretty decent Marge episode.

I agree with Triforcebun about Home Away From Homer. No Loan Again Naturally is also pretty good and on a similar vibe.
    My Simpsons homage!

How can an episode from the recent season be obscure? It literally came out 3 weeks ago.

    Simple. It's unloved by many.

I know, sorry. Got a little confused there.
Then I think that what the poster meant is that many people don't understand how good the episode may be. That's just my guess.

Simpson and Delilah is barely ever mentioned but is really an immense episode.

This is a tough choice considering that most of the episodes I like are deemed 'obscure', but I'm going with the Secret War of Lisa Simpson. A great episode filled with both tension and emotion, yet no one really talks about it.

When Flanders Failed -- I have always loved this episode, but it is never talked about. Good to see it mentioned in this thread by Triforce. This episode has a lot of good jokes in it, and not to mention one of the best act breaks of all-time for the first act. Plus a touching down to earth story.

The Computer Wore Menace Shoes -- Another one that seemingly does not get too much love. One of the best post-classic episodes with tons of great jokes, and an interesting story with a bizarre twist.

I Married Marge -- This one could be debatable, but this is often overshadowed by The Way We Was. Personally, I prefer this one over The Way We Was. Both are tremendously touching episodes, but for some reason, this one just appeals to me more.

There are a few more I could mention, but I'm not entirely sure how obscure they actually are.

Homer the Vigilante is a great episode that I hardly hear any talk about.

Elementary School Musical got trashed here, but I thought it was an appropriate season premiere with good moments. MoneyBART a few weeks later was pretty funny, too.

Please tell me you're joking. A mediocre episode completely ruined by a bizarre and wacky third act which involves Homer constantly drugged and Marge have sex with a German bloke. Yeah, Great stuff.

The first and second act of Menace Shoes are good, but it was ruined for me after the third act. Too foolish for my taste.

this was discussed in a previous thread, but we don't know for sure whether or not marge and the german homer had sex or not. the german homer said something about going out to dinner and then having "german sex" or something, and marge says "Well, i sure don't feel like cooking", so for sure they went out to dinner. but we don't know wether or not they actually had sex or not. she seemed interested in going out to dinner 'cause she didn't want to cook, but that doesn't really mean they had sex. sure, the german homer suggested it, but again, it doesn't mean they did have sex.

that said i agree with dehumanizer, and i too like the episode. it's wacky yea but i enjoyed it thoroughly

i am a big fan of the computer wears menace shoes. it is wacky of course but the wackiness in the episode gave a very oblivious tone to the entire episode and while it seemed like a mindfuck, it was not a bad mindfuck. there was a coherent plot, it did not seem as contrived as other wacky scully episodes went and the humor in the episode was great. a mental mindfuck can be nice at times... what ruins the episode for me is the sillish execution to the plot like how it was done in the old man and the c student (homer's springs rescuing the ship... can't say it wasn't funny but it was too rubbish to play the part of finishing off the plot) and very cop-out endings like, oh let's see, the great money scaper.

lard of the dance is another one that i agree on. one of my favorite scully era episodes with fun ending with two sides of the plot colliding with each other in the end.

I'm a fan of "Bart the Mother" (And a lot of season 9 holdovers) that don't get the attention they deserve
