But Bob you can't appear on a show without burgers. You're from two different worlds.

I wish the kids were having a cameo.

Louise would be a riot with Archer. Or Cheryl.

Let's hope Linda's appearance is funny/important enough to the episode to justify paying John Roberts over Mirman or Schaal.

    HOLY FUCK THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!

I've only seen a few episodes of Archer, but it's pretty damn funny. This should be a riot!

    Just be thankful

YES! I'm usually against crossovers but this sounds brilliant!

I like both shows, but this crossover seems odd to me.

I am looking forward to this. Two of the best shows right now.

I'm pretty excited for the new season to start up! I have to be honest though, I can't see that crossover really work. I just wish this show would stick around for at least 5 more seasons.

It sounds different to me though, like they're just borrowing a couple characters from Bob's Burgers more so than creating "The Archer and Bob's Burgers Magnificent Crossover Spectacular." Heck, the characters from Bob's aren't even going to be animated the same. Other than Bob and Linda's voice actors being on board, I would say it sounds more comparable to Mickey Mouse's appearance on South Park than The Flintstones Meet the Jetsons.

I will have to admit that it should be pretty cool seeing Bob animated in the Archer style.

^Seen that image a while back, it was pretty amusing.

Also, this is off-topic but here's another amusing Breaking Bad parody image.

Getting back on topic, here's what is known about the upcoming season:
This season the kids get jobs at a pot farm, Mr. Fischoeder buys a mechanical shark that threatens the town's safety and Louise's bunny ears are stolen by a bully.....

Oh, and according to the Comic-Con panel, we don't get to see under Louise's hat properly....guess they're giving her the same treatment Double D got in "Ed, Edd N' Eddy" whenever his hat was removed.

I wonder if they'll give Season 1 a DVD release in Region 2 anytime soon, though a Multi-Region DVD player could be useful if I ever wanted to import it. Hmmmm.....

Anyway, I'm looking forward to "The Unbearable Like-likeness of Gene". A Gene-centric episode seems interesting (even if it was partially done in "Spaghetti Western and Meatballs").

"As far as the animation style is concerned, Benjamin said it will still be animated like any other Archer episode, but with "the accoutrements and characteristics of the [Bob’s Burgers] characters." "

    - This does intrigue me .
I'm interested if they do it right
I'm formal. But I'm here to party.

I unlocked my DVD players region by typing in the brand name and model number online, there was a set of instructions about how to make it multi-region (Turn on, open disc tray, press the following numbers)

As for Bob's Burgers getting a region 2 release.....I'm pretty sure it is, or at least was planned. I have a leaflet inside both my Futurama "Season 5" set and The Cleveand Show season 2 set that advertises DVDs of various FOX shows including a Bob's Burgers season 1 picture with the BBFC "15" rating.

The leaflet also advertises Archer, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, Futurama and Family Guy.

I have my reservations but I'm still hella excited about the crossover. Anything to have the shows back, really. Outside of The Venture Bros....Archer and Bob's Burgers are my favorite American cartoons at the moment.

This seriously does look like one of the biggest crossover disasters waiting to happen I've heard of.

It could be written by manatees in a word-ball tank and I'd probably still be interested.

I'm actually thinking it will be a quick and fun nod and even go under most peoples radars.

Just like the Mr. Ford cameo already did.

Meaning: that most people just watch one show or the other and will be unaware of this entirely.

Lets just hope it turns into something like A Star Is Burns. I liked the ep. Though when the
episode came out I was too young to know it was a cross over. I think they can do the cross over - if they do it right.

I'm curious to see how they approach the 3D - 2D mediums together.

Yay Bob's Burgers has been renewed for a third production cycle of 19 episodes (which I guess will air as season 4), and with the remaining 13 episodes from the second set that's 32 more episodes.
So that means Animation Domination won't completely suck for at least another 2 years

HOORAY for the extended life of Bob's Burgers!

On a side note, I'm kind of irritated that they won't play re-runs! What's with that?!?

Season 3 doesn't have 19 production episodes yet, I wouldn't get too excited. It still has thirteen episodes to produce, then it has six episode scripts. It's likely to be a full order anyway.
