the bad puns one makes me laugh.
for some reason i always love when a show admits the joke(s) happening are bad or awful.

i saw at the store i was looking at the complete 7th season and all i could do was think "Wait, season 7 is done?"
when does nick even air new episodes anymore?

"11 times, as a matter of fact."
"Uh huh. Won't do any good?! 11 times!?"
The French narrator's voice is almost hypnotic after a while...
Favourite/least favourite by seasons that I own (somewhat stolen from Financial Panther):
3 - Dog of Death/When Flanders Failed 4 - Lisa's First Word/So it's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show 5 - Secrets of a Successful Marriage/Bart's Inner Child 6 - And Maggie Makes Three/Another Simpsons Clip Show 7 - Marge Be Not Proud/Bart the Fink 8 - Homer's Phobia/The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase 9 - King of the Hill/Trash of the Titans 10 - Wild Barts Can't Be Broken/Maximum Homerdrive
The things that are extra fun, I've written in red.
Everything's in red!
Yeah, I know!

For those of you not looking forward to the new movie in 2014...
Stephen Hillenburg: "Paul and I have been working on a movie premise; the story for a second movie. That's really what we've been busy with. Paul's going to direct this one, I'm going to produce but I'm going to help write it and we're kind of excited about the story (I can't talk about it yet). It's going to be delivered in 2014 so we had to get on it because that's only 2 years. [...] From the first movie we learned a lot because we write the show by storyboarding, we don't write a script, and we found very soon that it's incredibly hard to just write a loose outline and start boarding and make a movie. We finally pulled it together but it was challenging. This time Paul and I have really blocked out the three acts and we have a fun twist. We know where the movie's going a little more than in the first case, but it's always hard ... it's going to be challenging no matter what."

I doubt I'll see it in the theater but that certainly does sound extremely interesting....and vague.
Is this the first time Hillenburg's worked on spongebob since the first movie?
Pretty much, yeah.

Like this, Squidward?
Maude Flanders: My eyes have been soiled!
Homer: Come on, Maude. The human wang is a beautiful thing!
Homer: Here's your giraffe, little girl!
Ralph: I'm a boy!
Homer: That's the spirit! Never give up.

I'm actually relatively excited.
I can't believe I am too. This is the first time I'm going to be watching a new SpongeBob with at least relatively high expectations.
With Stephen Hillenburg creatively involved again I'm less worried about the new writers screwing it up.
