i only remember it from the rugrats/wild thornberrys movie.

only thing i remember about that movie, now that i think about it.

Actually, the Odorama cards (which I assume you really mean) were around before that movie. They made their debut in the movie Polyester back in 1981.

Just watched three episodes from this year just to see how they'd be. Two were pretty horrible, one where Spongebob and Patrick visit Glove World on its last day open, another where Spongebob's home decays and his friends help remodel it. The third though, involving Gary becoming obsessed with these new Snail Treats, was...acceptable. Nowhere near the early years, but I didn't feel like it was a total waste of time like the other two.

Oh yes, my favorite part has to be Patrick saying "My turn!" and whipping out the ax to use on the paint can after Spongebob just barely managed to avoid paint splash when he opens his. I tried to find an image, but when 45 seconds provided no results gave up...

I saw this one. I thought it was pretty good for the most part. What didn't you like about it?

I just didn't laugh and wasn't really that interested with the premise so it seemed to go on forever. Plus it only reminded me of the Home Sweet Pineapple episode which I think is rather good from the early days.

I didn't really mind any of them back during the early days, even Pearl and Sandy who were probably the weakest regulars. Now I think I could make an argument for everyone in the cast aside from maybe Krabs and Squidward.

Well I didn't mean voice wise, I haven't noticed anything different with any of their voices but then I haven't seen that many newer episodes.

but i'd say all of their voices have changed. spongebob's voice is way higher now.

I remember in Funny Pants his laugh had a squeaking sound to it. And he was laughing for half the episode. It was unbearable.

I don't mind the voice changes too much, though.

They've had a decline, but I think that Season 8 put the series nearly back on track.

One where his greed was hilarious though is the dime.

the dime episode was pretty funny.

his greediness never really bothered me here, i think maybe because it wasn't the entire episode.

for some reason the penny episode bothered the hell out of me. the dime one probably should too, but there were more scenes focusing on spongebob and squidward, which made it watchable and funny. the penny episode was literally just him trying to get the 'penny' spongebob found, and that's it.
