Really? In my opinion, The Camping Episode is one of the very few early episodes I hate. It contained two things that would later become a problem in the later seasons - SpongeBob and Patrick's stupidity being more annoying than funny and Squidward repeatedly being tortured.

And a couple others but after looking at the episode guide Season 3 is probably what I'd consider the last "great" season.

i don't pay attention much to spongebob's stupidity, but patrick is insufferable in some episodes. i watched 'tunnel of glove' a few months ago and patrick bugged the shit out of me. i know he's dumb but he seemed to be in full overdrive in that episode, which basically ruined it for me.
that said i think the camping episode is pretty funny

I'm just curious but is there [I]anyone[/I who doesn't consider Chocolate With Nuts to be one of their favorites?
I love it just as much as the next guy, but it's like one of the most universally-loved Spongebob episodes. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone dislike it.

that's where it lies; it's pretty easily one of the funniest episodes of the series, at least to most people

Dying for Pie is definitely my favourite. It's laugh-out-loud funny, with heart mixed in.

No love for the first Episode of Spongebob
Also I always Liked the Season 1 Animaton way better
It was hand drawn not done with computers like season 2-ongoing(Not sure if Season 2 was digitally animeted dont remember)

seeing it when it first premiered at probably age 9 or 10 (or around there) is much different than watching it now. I could never really understand what they were saying or even if it was supposed to be funny.
